10 Best Beauty Products For Girls On A Budget

We know that post-Christmas, and with New Year’s resolutions in full swing, beauty buys kind of take a back seat. Of course, we still care about our skin, and we still want to add to our makeup collection, but we need to save money. Getting serious about a budget means we can’t always afford to splurge on the latest high-end products.

Luckily you can still get your beauty fix on a budget, these high performing products are so good, the price is almost a steal!

1. Weleda Skinfood Moisturizer

best budget beauty brands

This moisturizer is an underdog in the skincare world. With an amazing price point and unassuming packaging, it’s easy to underestimate it. But don’t. You can find this in the handbags of the likes of Alexa Chung and Lisa Eldridge. It’s hydrating, moisturizing and dramatically improves complexion when used overnight. A hero product for hardly any money! Available here.

2. To banish those eye bags . . .

Snail slime is the hero ingredient in Korea for banishing eye bags and getting rid of that tired look and feel. This gold tea fermented snail mucus treatment might sound a bit gross, but it actually isn’t. It’s restorative, soothing, and once absorbed repairs damaged skin. This is a budget treatment with the power of a seriously expensive one. Available here.

3. For brows on fleek . . .

You might be surprised that best-selling Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade isn’t as expensive as you think. For under $20 you can get perfect brows, and I recommend spending that little bit extra for a product you can really trust. Now all you need to do is get working on the perfect eyebrow shape. Available here.

4. For color correcting . . .

If you struggle with redness, dark circles, or maybe have an angry looking spot in a time where you really wish you didn’t, color correcting will solve all your problems. Forget the super expensive color correcting palettes, this simple NYX palette is an instant sell out for a reason. Available here.

5. For protecting the skin around your eyes . . .

Mario Badescu’s Hyaluronic Eye Cream locks in  natural moisture and has an aloe-based formula that soothes, renews, and protects. Available here.

6. For blurring imperfections . . .

s1726058-main-lheroA potent, creamy concealer that covers up every issue, can carve brows and hide under eye bags is hard to come by. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer is liquid gold. It blurs lines and wrinkles and can cover just about anything. The travel size is perfect for handbags and perfectly affordable, too! Available here.

7. For cleansing your skin quickly . . .

_13198454This charcoal cleansing bar soap is the ultimate way to detoxify your skin if you’re on the go. Keep it by your sink and simply cleanse your face with the soap to get the benefits. It’ll exfoliate your skin, remove impurities and toxins from deep inside your pores and the bamboo activated charcoal and tea tree cleansing oil will purify your skin, fight infections and reduce allergic skin reactions. Available here.

8. For hydrating your skin on the go . . .

_13258981One of the things we always recommend to keep your skin in tip-top condition is a facial spray. Whether you’re on a long flight or sitting in the office all day, your skin will eventually start to dry out. The quickest, easiest way to combat that is to use a quick spritz of Mario Badescu Facial Spray. It contains aloe, herbs and power ingredient rosewater to give your skin a much-needed pick me up. Available here.

9. For glowing skin . . .

MAC mini strobe cream is the perfect quick fix for skin. It de-stresses, moistens, freshens and boosts dull skin and delivers a vitamin zap and a dose of green tea as well. If you need glowing natural skin, this cream will brighten your face and allow it to catch the light while blurring imperfections. It sounds too good to be true, but thanks to the mini size you can even buy it on a budget! Available here.

10. For the perfect nude lip . . .

49162305Nude lips are still on trend, but they’re hard to master. The first step is exfoliating your lips, next you need a matte lipstick with a high color payoff that won’t clump or bleed. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream is the perfect nude for any budget. It’s hydrating and moisturizing and won’t slide off after one drink. Available here.

I’ve tried a low budget colour correcting palette before (I think it was the MUA one) and it did NOT go down well. Had I known NYX offered one, I would have snapped it up straight away as they are so affordable and high quality! Thanks so much for posting this!!

  • Weleda Skin Food is simply a MUST! Great compilation of products! I haven’t heard the best things about NYX Color Correcting Palette, and they definitely seemed a bit dry when I swatched one that looked new on display at Ulta. Will probably end up giving the Wet ‘n’ Wild color correctors a go, or just go with Ben Nye.
