7 Must-Have Beauty Products That Actually Work

We love trying new things! We made a list recently of affordable beauty products everyone needs, and I can safely say I’ve tried everything. The best part of beauty writing is being able to try and test all the new products and finding out what really works and what you’d recommend to your friends.

Here are ten beauty products you won’t regret buying because they really work!

#1 Sunday Riley Good Genes

It’s pricey, but it’s potent. This purified lactic acid is the only treatment your skin needs. One pump exfoliates your skin and removes dead skin cells, but also plumps the skin. The more you use it, the better the results. Anything that’s used backstage at fashion week is a good investment! It creates a healthy complexion that doesn’t just need good genes. Clever huh? Find out why there’s so much hype around this product here.

#2 NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

We like to tell ourselves that the only reason we’ll have eye bags in the morning is a late-night Netflix binge. Of course, there are other (less savory!) reasons we wake up with a headache and dark circles on a work day (shame, shame!). This concealer is your savior. It’ll cover blemishes, spots, under-eye bags and won’t crease throughout the day. See the reviews here.

#3 Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

This is every beauty bloggers favorite foundation, it’s featured more heavily in YouTube tutorials than anywhere else, with good reason. It’s an award-winning foundation that’s weightless but high-coverage and only a tiny pump will give your skin a soft, sheer glow. Try it here.

#4 Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

If you haven’t tried tinted moisturizer yet, do it! Laura Mercier really knows how to make a hard-working product. This one is a best-seller! It’ll protect your skin from the aggressive outside world, moisturize your skin and also contains SPF sunscreen! Buy it here.

#5 Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade

Wondering how everybody has such great brows these days? It’s all thanks to Anastasia Beverly Hills. Believe the hype, this pomade is soft and buildable, so you can create fine strokes to fill in even the most horrendous brow mistake or just give them a swipe of color to help frame your face. Buy it here.

#6 Herbivore Blue Tansy Clarity Mask

Not only will this mask look really pretty in your bathroom, it’s also an affordable spa treatment for your skin that you can do at home. It contains potent ingredients like fruit enzymes and white willow bark that exfoliate, smooth, and resurface your skin. If you want smooth, clear skin, use this at least twice a week. Buy it here.

#7 Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Wondering why this palette is consistently rated as the best? Even if you aren’t interested in full-makeup tutorials you should have this palette on hand for date nights, occasions and events. It works on every skin tone and just a swipe of two contrasting colors can create any look from subtle and muted to shimmering and smoky. See the reviews here.
