You don’t need to be a bitch to succeed says Diane von Furstenberg. “My message is always the same to every girl in the world,” Diane explained. “And even though I’m an old woman, I remember so clearly that moment in life where you push the first door.
That moment where you are in your early twenties and you don’t know what your life is going to be and what is going to be your door.
It’s a very special, magical moment and I was very honored to have the privilege of hosting young girls and seeing that, but not just the ones who were with me but the ones who were watching.
At the end the message of the show and brand that I believe in is I was able to empower myself a long time ago and I want every girl and every woman to know that they can empower themselves. They can be the woman they want to be.”[irp posts=”25577″ name=”Shop Like A Fashion Editor! Here’s What You Should Look Out For During The Sales”]
She is famous for her wrap dress, founded in 1974. Ever since, her empire has expanded to a full collection of ready-to-wear, and accessories.
“When I was very young, I liked people to think I was a bitch,” Diane said. “That was my defense. I wanted people to know that I was tough and they couldn’t step on my toes and then I became very successful very early and I realized that actually to show your vulnerability is even a better way.
As long as you know you’re tough, you don’t have to show it.’
She is a self-made successful woman and I love everything about her joie de vivre, compassion and creative never-ending spirit!
After watching this show, (I watched all episodes in one weekend because I couldn’t stop watching) I know DianA is a real role model and stands for empowering women. She is an inspiration for so many reasons. Diane, you in so many ways are my hero.[irp posts=”18495″ name=”Inspiring Life Lessons From Stella McCartney”]
