Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is beautiful, toned and seems to have perfect skin. I often roll my eyes at girls like her, she’s just perfect, and for the rest of us, well, we’re lucky if we only have one zit in the morning. But, in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she divulged her beauty, health, and fitness secrets. And they aren’t so impossible.
Starting the day
Rosie starts her morning with trying to drink one litre of water. “I need proper food in the morning so I usually have boiled or scrambled eggs with spinach and a green juice.” she tells Harper’s Bazaar. Which is good news, because I love boiled eggs in the mornings.
Staying in shape
“If I have a lingerie shoot or a red-carpet event coming up, I might cut out carbs, watch my salt and sugar intake and drink even more water for a few days before.” Rosie admits, but she regularly relies on workouts to keep her body in shape. She does pilates for a toned stomach, and even if she can’t get to the gym she’ll rely on skipping or the power of YouTube. “Everything’s on YouTube now, too! You can go on there and type in ‘exercise for 10 minutes’ and see what comes up.”
She’s a fan of eating well 80 percent of the time and permitting herself to have 20 percent of treats, telling E, “My kind of balance is trying to eat really well at home and then when I go out… I try and still make smart choices but, you know, if I’m going to have some French fries, or if I’m going to share a pudding or a dessert with somebody, you want to enjoy those things in life,” our kind of girl!
“Look after your skin. There’s no point putting on loads of make-up if you’re not investing in healthy skin so it’s really about working out which products work for you.” she says, while admitting she’s a big fan of contouring.
