Coffee isn’t too bad for you, that’s lucky (given how much we drink!) but it could be healthier. Luckily you can supercharge your morning cup of energy with some super healthy coffee recipes. Our office favorites will not only make your mornings feel better, they’ll make them smell and taste a lot better too!

1. Coconut milk latte

Sorry black coffee lovers, this is not for you! Making a coconut milk latte is such a simple way to make your morning coffee healthier (and tastier!).

All you need to do is make your usual cup of coffee but use coconut milk instead of semi-skimmed! You could also even blend some coconut milk to make a nice froth to spoon onto on the top.

2. Vanilla iced coffee

With this recipe, you will be consuming more water and less added refined sugars, while vanilla will help you feel refreshed and alert.

For this recipe, you will need a cup of ice, 1/2 cup coffee, 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Pour the coffee into your cup of ice and stir in with your vanilla almond milk and vanilla extract and you’re done!

3. Tumeric Latte

Turmeric has some incredible health benefits, including anti-inflammatory, relieving depression and being high in antioxidants. It’s the perfect ingredient to add to your coffee to make it healthier.

To make this as tasty as possible, you will need 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk, 1-2 tsp your choice of sweetener, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp ground ginger.

4. Chocolate mocha smoothie

For the ladies on the go, a mocha smoothie is a perfect substitute for a tasty breakfast and coffee all in one. And yes, chocolate can still be healthy! It’ll help boost your brain power and release endorphins that keep you happy all day.

You will need 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, unsweetened vanilla almond milk ice cubes, 1/4 avocado, 5-6 pitted dates, 2 tbsp cacao powder, 2 tbsp cold brewed coffee concentrate, 2 tbsp hemp hearts, 1 tbsp chia seeds and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Then, mix the ingredients in the blender and pour it into a portable smoothie cup to drink on your way to work.
