10 MAC Products Every Makeup Addict Should Own

MAC Cosmetics is one of those brands that sets every makeup lover’s heart aflutter.

The infinite range of shades and finishes means there’s something for everyone. But, if you’re new to the brand, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. If you’re wondering what to try first, here are the 10 best MAC products. Give them a try. You’ll fall in love with them too:

1. Lipstick in Ruby Woo

The ultimate red lipstick! Ruby Woo flatters everyone (yes, even you who think you can’t pull off red lippie!) and makes your teeth look whiter too. Its creamy formula lasts for hours on the lips, so no need for frequent touch-ups. Thanks, MAC!

2. 217 Blending Brush

This is the one brush I couldn’t live without. It makes blending eyeshadows (something I had always found tricky before) an absolute breeze. Seriously, it’s like magic. Best of all, if you’re in a rush, you can use it to do your entire eye makeup. So versatile!

3. Fluidline in Blacktrack

Any career girl needs a black gel eyeliner in her arsenal. Why choose Fluidline in Blacktrack? Staying power. You can put it on in the morning and it won’t budge until you take it off late at night. The black dries more to a darkish grey, which is ideal for the office.

4. Studio Fix Fluid SPF15

MAC has the best shade range ever. Whatever your colouring and undertone is, it’s impossible not to find a good match. This foundation also provides medium, but, buildable natural coverage that lasts all day. And did I mention it provides sun protection as well?

5. Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

If liquid foundation is not your thing, you’ll love the Studio Fix Powder formula. Its texture is as light as air, and yet easily covers small imperfections, making your complexion look flawless. It can also be used to set makeup. Don’t you love products that multitask?

6. Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara

If you crave long, thick lashes,  Extreme Dimension Lash Mascara is the one. Although huge, the wand easily coats every lash, even the tiniest one, with a coat of intense black colour for a defined, intense look.

7. Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft And Gentle

Strobing is all the rage right now. Soft And Gentle makes the look so easy to achieve. It’s lightweight, shimmery formula gives skin a gorgeous glow. For best results, I apply it with a fan brush. So easy!

8. Eye Shadow in All That Glitters

Don’t let the name scare you off! This stunning golden beige is incredibly easy to wear. You can use it as a wash of colour all over the lid or even as a highlighter. There’s so much you can do with it.

9. Eye Brows Brow Definer

Eyebrows can make or break a look. This pencil makes it so easy to draw yours. The thin point allows you to draw thin, hair-like lines that make your eyebrows look so natural. No one will know you’ve drawn them on!

10. Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul

This is one of my favourite MAC blushes. The warm brown shade is universally flattering and instantly warms up my complexion, making me look healthy and radiant. It blends effortlessly too.

Ruby Woo creamy? I find it really drying because it’s so matte. Anyone else? Or did I just get a dud?!

    Love their brow pencils though!

I always put a bit of primer on my lips before I put on my Ruby Woo but yea pretty matte/drying. I sometimes put a layer of red lip gloss over to hydrate but it’s then prone to coming off quicker.
