London takes a little time to get used to. It’s a thoroughly cosmopolitan city, vibrant, full of life and multi-cultural. Full of busy people who always have somewhere to be, and hidden gems in places you wouldn’t usually look.

We love London, so here are our favorite places to go when we want to enjoy all that London has to offer.

1. Go to Chin Chin Labs
What: Europe’s first liquid nitrogen ice-cream parlor
Where: 49-50 Camden Lock Place, London, NW1 8AF

Upgrade your soggy old cone ice cream and visit Europe’s first liquid nitrogen ice-cream parlor. If you’re visiting Camden Lock for a taste of Camden Market and the amazing vintage shops, make sure to pop in and try one of their amazing ice creams. From coconut and kaffir lime to one called ‘The CookieWich’, they’ll definitely cool you down after a humid day in the city.

2. Have dinner at 35 New Cavendish
What: A fancy restaurant
Where: 35 New Cavendish St, London W1G 9TR

A kind of members-only vibe. But thanks to some serious rejuvenation, it really is new. It’s the kind of place you’d want to take a date or your favorite friends to impress them. Relaxed, friendly, informal yet impressive and the staff are amazing, talented and funny. I sampled their new menu, which they describe as hearty, good for you food. And I fell in love. The 100 layer lasagne (yes you read that right!) is a taste sensation.

3. Have exclusive drinks at the Polo Bar
What: A cocktail bar with designer interior by Swarovski and Fendi.
Where: 37 Conduit St, London W1S 2YF

The Polo Bar is your go-to place if you’re in need of an exclusive cocktail in a luxurious environment. It is a truly a hidden gem in cosmopolitan London, with lavish furnishings & an exclusive cocktail list.

4. Get ready for a night out at Blow.
What: A beauty bar
Where: 8 Slingsby Place, St Martins Courtyard, London WC2E 9AB

Blow is perfect for when you need a quick touch up. Visit their salon in Covent Garden for a quick touch up or use their app and order their services straight to your home!

5. Be healthy and visit the Detox Kitchen
What: A cool restaurant
Where: Kingly Court. 10 Kingly St, London W1B 5PJ

This place is perfect for a quick stop mid-shopping spree. Healthy tasty selections, with good choices that you wouldn’t necessarily put together yourself at home. Sweet, beachy atmosphere. I’ve visited a lot of healthy cafe’s and this is one my favorites.

6. Stay at an exquisite hotel
What: The Dorsett Hotel
Where: 58 Shepherd’s Bush Green, London W12 8QE

Looking for a regal place to stay? The Dorsett Hotel is for you. The rooms are elegantly decorated, the atmosphere is relaxed and indulgent. Stay in the suite if you want something a bit more luxurious and enjoy views over the city, a huge bathroom, complimentary breakfast and a bottle of prosecco to welcome you. You’ll almost want to move in.

7. Visit a sky-high bar
What: Healthy cocktails from up high
Where: 110 Bishopsgate, Heron Tower, 110 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AY

Sky-high bar Duck & Waffle is famed for its alcoholic tipples, but it’s free-from options are just as delicious. Try the virgin Verde – a simple but delicious mix of kale, apple, and celery. No one would know it’s alcohol-free…

8. Go to the Rooftop Cinema
What: Watch a movie with an amazing view over London
Where: Check The Rooftop Cinema Club for all the different locations

One of the best things to do on a nice Summer evening! Sitting in comfortable deck chairs, with popcorn or ice cream, watching your favorite movie with an amazing view over London. They play old and new movies in every genre and it is on almost every night of the week. Insider tip: be on time to get the best spot.

9. Experience dinner at Benihana
What: Dinner with a little show
Where: Check Benihana’s website for the different locations

Sit at the chef’s table and watch how the chef is preparing your food (trust me, it is worth it). They mainly serve Japanese food and steak, which absolutely delicious. And definitely, give their sushi and cocktails a try.

10. Sleep in LA style
What: LA Suite West
Where: Hyde Park 41-51 Inverness Terrace London, W2 3JN

After a minimalist boutique vibe? LA Suite West is clean, and thoroughly modern. Stay in the terrace suite for a ‘house’ to yourself. With a TV that appears from a table, and an outside terrace all to yourself – this hotel is an absolute must visit. If you can’t stay, make time to visit for afternoon tea. It’s divine.

Loved this post! I’ve lived in London for nearly two years and I havent done most of these! Completely agree with the ice cream bar in Camden. Such amazing food and even though it costs a bit is it so worth it for the experience! I need to see a roof top movie soon, I think I am going to wait closer to Halloween though for the old school horrors which I am such a fan girl with :) Thanks for this post! Such great recommendations! :) xxx
