Working at CGD means we’re always keeping an eye on the hottest new trends and fashion items. There’s a lot that I’m lusting after right now. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest are loaded up with catwalk and press show goodies that get my heart beating out of control.  I love a minimal chic outfit and it’s very easy to create this look . All you need is a pair of jeans, nice heels a blazer and a tee or you can wear a dress/jumpsuit or skirt in a neutral color and keep the rest of your outfit very simple and clean.

I LOVE THESE!! The college I went to allowed you to wear anything. You could opt for jeans, or even come in your PJ’s and nobody would stop you. I, however, love dressing like this! Cute cropped trousers and a navy or dusty pink coat were my go-to. These pieces are beautiful! <3

I love the articles that appear on Career Girl Daily. As a consistent reader who follows you on BlogLovin, I thought you might like to hear how I feel about what I see. The list format of “25 Things You Have to blah blah blah” does get a little tired.

I assume that the catchy titles pull in a healthy amount of viewers and the content is generally strong. Unfortunately, it is starting to feel and look like clickbait after reading for more than a month.

I’d be just as interested in reading if the article above was entitled “Minimal Chic Outfits for Career Girls” or whatever. I am not “everygirl” and no, I do not feel as if I “must have” whatever you say. I enjoy reading to hear your point of view. I’m sure you don’t want to come off as condescending, but empowering. That tone should be reserved for blogs followed by teens who feel the need to be guided into belonging.

I hope you all reconsider your target audience and what me, and they, want from a blog such as yours.

Thanks for the feedback Marissa! We always appreciate feedback from our readers. Negative and positive! :)
It’s important for us to know what you girls really want to read on CGD.

      Have a lovely weekend!

Can you give the source for the first blazer pictured, the largest one? I like the longer, more classic look of that one! Thanks!

LOVE a nude blazer. If anyone has suggestions of where else I could find one – let me know! I’m always on the hunt for a good price and AMAZING quality.
