4 Things You Should Know About Bronzer

It’s time to pop out the bronzers and start using them wisely! We want to be a glowing goddess, not an orange, glittery mess so read on to find out some ultimate tips, tricks and products for perfect bronzing for all skin tones and types!

Tips & Tricks

How to apply:
Apply bronzer with a blush brush or similar in the areas that the sun would naturally hit your face, or mix a little with your foundation and apply sparsely across your cheeks and temple.

Bronzer as contour:
If you aren’t committed to bronzing your whole face, simply use bronzer as you would a contour and apply it underneath your cheeks. Use a blusher and highlighter on the apples of your cheeks for maximum effect!

DIY tinted moisturiser:
Mix bronzer, liquid foundation and a drop of moisturiser for a tinted moisturiser that you can apply in place of foundation. It’s light, natural and a great summer makeup alternative!

Fake Freckles:
It’s nice to have some luscious summer freckles peppering your cheeks and nose during the summer months, but if you aren’t lucky enough to be blessed in the freckle department why not fake it? Dab a small brush in bronzer and haphazardly dot all over the bridge of your nose and cheeks, then using your finger dab the spots until they fade and can barely be seen, after repeating this throughout you’ll be left with gorgeous and subtle fake freckles!

You don’t have to spend all day in the sun to get a gorgeous glow, us career girls spend far too much time indoors in front of our laptops anyway, thank goodness for bronzers

I actually haven’t tried any of those bronzers, but they do sound amazing. My favourites are by NARS (surprise, surprise) and Hourglass at the moment. I love the idea of making your own tinted moisturiser! I need to try that next summer!
