Looking for cocktails for Friday? There’s nothing better than a nice drink after a long week, and since we’re not going out anytime soon, staying in and making a sweet and delicious drink can give you something extra to look forward to. These five cocktails are definitely delicious, and super easy to make – too!
Mango Pina Colada
Sweet and fruity, this twist on a Pina Colada is perfect for the hotter weather and will give you a fresh drink to sip on after work or during the weekend!
2 oz coconut rum
2 oz mango juice
2 oz pineapple juice
1 tablespoon coconut cream
1 tablespoon grenadine
Fresh pineapple garnish
Add coconut rum, mango, and pineapple juice to a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Add coconut cream and grenadine and voila.
Cherry Vanilla Old Fashioned
If you like something a little more grown-up, this cherry vanilla old fashioned is the perfect bitter and sweet mix. Feel swanky AF with a couple of sips of this in the evening.
3 ounces favorite bourbon whiskey
1-ounce cranberry simple syrup
3 shakes Angostura bitters
1 cup of sugar
1 cup fresh cranberries
2 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
Combine two cups of water with sugar and cranberries in a medium saucepan. Strain and add the vanilla paste or extract. Stir and then add bourbon and bitters to a glass with the syrup. Yum.
Rosemary Grapefruit Refresher
If you need something a little more refreshing for your Friday afternoon, you’re gonna love this. Syrupy and sweet, but refreshing and cooling – this is the cocktail for all sweet tooths.
2-3 oz Gin or Vodka
3 oz Grapefruit juice
1 Tablespoon Rosemary Simple Syrup
Combine gin (or vodka), grapefruit juice and rosemary syrup Combine first 3 ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Top with soda and you’re done.
Frozen Gin & Tonic
If you love gin and tonic, you’re gonna love this. Perfect for the heatwave that’s coming soon, this cocktail is sweet, sour, bitter, and beautiful. If you’re looking for cocktails for Friday after work, this is a great one.
Squeeze the limes and slice five thick pieces of cucumber. Add gin, tonic, and syrup into a blender with limes, cucumber and ice, and blend.
CHERRY BLOSSOM HIGHBALL
Cherry blossoms are pretty enough as it is, why wouldn’t you want to drink them? This delicious cocktail is classy and tasty. You’ll love it.
2 oz Fuji Japanese Whisky
1/2 oz. Suntory Cherry Blossom Liqueur (or Luxardo Maraschino)
4-6 ox. soda water
Grapefruit peel (for garnish)
Add whisky and Cherry Blossom Liqueur into a glass and top with ice. Top it up with soda water and garnish with a grapefruit peel.
