5 Inspiring Lessons All Career Girls Can Learn From Beyoncé

5 Inspiring Lessons All Career Girls Can Learn From BeyoncéThere is no one like Queen B. Strong, confident, independent, successful, powerful, elegant and sexy yet a loving mother and a caring wife! Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter has inspired thousands of young women since 1996 and still today she fights for women’s empowerment through the evocative power of her songs. Her dynamics on stage, her brilliant performances and the themes of her songs (love, relationships, monogamy, feminism) make her one of the most popular artists of all time as well as an icon and a role model for many. Thank you, Queen B, for making us better Career Girls!

#1 Women shouldn’t be worried to demand more!

Beyoncé has written and spoken about the gender equality issue, showing how working women only earn 77% of the average working male income. She once said: “we have to teach our girls that they can reach as high as humanly possible.” Don’t be afraid to shoot for the stars and to speak out your mind. If you deserve better you must demand more.

#2 Haters gonna hate!

You can’t always please everyone so do what you want to do and don’t worry about the haters. Be free to be whatever you want to be and embrace yourself. Beyoncé regularly faces criticism and comes under fire for her decisions, but she doesn’t let it change her views or her outlook on life and takes what they say in her stride.

#3 Love your body.

Beyoncé is proud of her body and her curves! She rocks her figure and is confident about herself and her body, which, after all, is what really matters. We all have imperfections, but we need to cope with them in the best possible way because it is not what’s on the outside that defines who we are.

#4 Fake it ‘til you make it.

At the beginning of her career, Queen B was not the confident woman we now see. To help her become more confident and own the stage, she decided to create an alter ego that she named Sasha Fierce. When she felt she no longer needed her, she made Sasha disappear. If you have to do something that makes you nervous and scares you, then pull off a fierce personality and then fake it until you make it!

#5 Some things have to be kept private.

Beyoncé is one of the most influential and famous people in the world. The same can be said of her husband, Jay-Z. Yet we know little about their relationship and maybe that is why their marriage is working just fine. Sometimes it is better to keep things private as they might bite us back. Of course, this doesn’t mean that you don’t have to share your life with your friends but just mind what you say and to who you say it.

  1. love your body, that’s one huge thing I’ve learnt from Bey!
