With sale season coming up this is a great time to hunt down those investment pieces. Here are some things every girl needs in her wardrobe:
A Quality Bag[show_lookbook_widget id=”263911″]
A bag is a great addition to your wardrobe and is definitely worth investing in. It brings something extra to your outfit. Great websites to look for a designer bag are Net A Porter and MyTheresa. Are you looking for a bag but don’t want to spend loads on it? Try Vestiaire Collective (amazing second hand finds) and The Outnet (basically the discount site from Net A Porter) and Ebay.
A Cashmere Jumper
A quality cashmere jumper is a great investment. So keep your eyes open during sale season and try to find one in a neutral color like black, brown, navy or grey. Amazing sites to score a cashmere jumper are J.Crew (they have the best sales), Net A Porter, Selfridges and Nordstrom.
Black Leather Boots
My all time favorite black boots are from Acne & Saint Laurent (if you find them buy them!). Black leather boots never go out of style and are definitely worth the splurge. You will definitely wear them more than 1 season. You can wear them during Spring/Summer under your cute dress/skirt to make it more edgy or during the colder months for a casual/cool look. Try to invest in a basic pair of good quality leather.
A Great Pair Of Heels
Every career girls needs at least 2 pairs of heels in her closet. They are definitely worth investing in. Try to have at least one pair of black basic pumps in your closet and another eye catching pair you can match with all different kinds of outfits. A pair I’ve been eyeing for a while are these from Jimmy Choo and these from Aquazzura.
A coat can make or break your outfit. I think every girls need a coat that will go with everything. No budget? Go to a vintage store, have a look on Ebay or Vestiaire Collective as they have amazing deals. Last year I bought a faux fur coat and a Burberry coat for a bargain. So keep your eyes peeled.
Of course you need more items in your wardrobe. But with these 5 key pieces you will come a long way.
