There is so much happening at the moment, which might just take away from the awkward conversations during your lunch break. From Kanye’s outburst to Gigi’s impression of Melania Trump, there’s a lot going on. Plus, is it just us or is technology getting a little bit creepy at the moment?

The entertainment world is getting a little political right now . . .

1. Kanye Fans Demand Refund
Ticketmaster has awarded refunds to fans that attended Kanye West’s concert in Sacramento this weekend. Kanye cut the show short after half an hour, starting his concert with a rant against Obama, Clinton, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z. Fans were less than impressed, and so refunds were given out.

2. Facebook Publishing Fake News
People are getting annoyed with the misinformation that’s been spread around Facebook and other news websites thanks to a rise in fake news sources. Mark Zuckerberg released a statement explaining the difficulties in policing fake news.

“We believe in giving people a voice, which means erring on the side of letting people share what they want whenever possible. We need to be careful not to discourage sharing of opinions or to mistakenly restrict accurate content. We do not want to be arbiters of truth ourselves, but instead, rely on our community and trusted third parties.

While the percentage of misinformation is relatively small, we have much more work ahead on our roadmap. Normally we wouldn’t share specifics about our work in progress, but given the importance of these issues and the amount of interest in this topic, I want to outline some of the projects we already have underway.”

3. Gigi Hadid Did A Melania Trump Impression That Might Not Go Down Well
While hosting the American Music Awards, Gigi Hadid stepped out in a red glittering dress and put on an Eastern European accent to mock the soon-to-be first lady. “I love my husband, President Barack Obama. And our children Sasha and Malia.” People have accused her of being disrespectful, racist, and rude, while others said it was funny and topical.

4. Trump Demands An Apology After Hamilton Production
Trump’s VP Mike Pence attended a showing of Hamilton and the cast had something to tell him. They voiced their fears to him, “We, sir – we – are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights. We truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us.” actor Brandon Victor Dixon said.

Pence said in comments after the show that he thoroughly enjoyed it, and would leave it up to others to decide whether it was the correct venue to bring up that kind of discussion. Trump tweeted in defense of Pence: “Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing. This should not happen!”

5. Problem With Certain iPhone 6s Models
Apple has revealed that there’s a problem with iPhone 6s models. According to the company, a fault with the battery is causing a “very small number” of handsets to shut down. If your device was manufactured between September and October 20165, you’re eligible for a replacement.

If you’ve got a device that was manufactured between September and October 2015, then you’re eligible for a replacement.
