Another day, another round-up. There’s always so much going on that we don’t know where to start. Here are a few things you need to know today, so you can make Sunday dinner around the table a seriously thought-provoking occasion.

Robin Williams’s Widow Wrote An Essay About His Death

Titled “The Terrorist Inside My Husband’s Brain”, it was published in a scientific journal that focuses on the study of neurology. Many of us felt the loss personally, given that he was a massive part of our childhood and features in almost all of our favorite films. We miss him, but his wife’s essay sheds some light on the circumstances around his illness, and his death. It’s interesting, inspiring and terribly, terribly sad.

“Robin was losing his mind and he was aware of it. Can you imagine the pain he felt as he experienced himself disintegrating? And not from something he would ever know the name of, or understand? Neither he, nor anyone could stop it – no amount of intelligence or love could hold it back.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton Say Goodbye To Canada

Yes, their Canada tour is over. But we loved every minute of it, from the fashion choices to canoeing, they’ve really seen all they needed to of Canada. But it was Princess Charlotte and Prince George that actually stole the headlines. From Charlotte riding a dog to George blowing bubbles, everyone’s been talking about how adorable they are. Charlotte also said her first public word, “Pop!”. Adorable.

Emma Watson and Justin Trudeau Had A Chat About Feminism

Another Brit in Canada, our fave Emma Watson had a chat with PM Justin Trudeau about feminism and gender equality. “The He For She campaign has extraordinary impact around the world, making men champions of women’s issues that are everyone’s issues,” Trudeau said. “Her voice is extremely important in making people realize how important this is.”

In reply, Emma said: “It’s been such an exciting visit for me to come visit your Parliament. It was so inspiring that you made your cabinet 50/50…We’re very excited that you’re a He For She Youth Ambassador. I can’t wait to see what you’re going to do with that title.”

Facebook Is Creating A Snapchat Clone

Facebook users in Poland have access to the new Facebook product called “Messenger Day,” which, according to TechCrunch, lets users “share illustrated filter-enhanced photos and videos that disappear in 24 hours,”. I know, I know. That’s basically Snapchat. “We know that people come to Messenger to share everyday moments with friends and family,” a Facebook spokesperson said. “In Poland we are running a small test of new ways for people to share those updates visually. We have nothing more to announce at this time.”

Beyoncé Makes Big Investments

Never say Beyoncé isn’t smart with her money. She has invested $150,000 into Side-Step, an app that allows people to get merchandise faster at concerts (genius!), and has already invested in WTRMLN WTR. This new app investment makes her officially a tech startup investor. Cool!
