Have a trip coming up soon? With these 5 tips you’re ready to travel in style and comfort
Keep your makeup simple.
Skip heavy foundations and choose a tinted moisturiser instead. Try Laura Mercier or MAC) . Plane air is incredibly drying and a moisturiser keeps your skin from drying out. You can keep the rest of your look fresh, too, with a touch of mascara, cream blush and tinted lip balm
Wear socks.
Is there anything worse than forgetting to pack socks and then having to tiptoe through the security line with bare feet or cold feet in the plane? I think not.
Don’t wear anything full of buckles.
Simplicity is key. If you avoid heavy items with buckles, you can cut down on the time you spend preparing for security and have more time to relax before boarding!
Minimise your jewellery.
Don’t wear too many watches and bracelets, keep your accessories to a minimum. Usually, you will be asked to remove everything before going through airport security, so it’s easier to prevent this.
Layer up.
Wear your most comfortable pair of jeans or leggings—preferably in a dark color. Top off your look with a simple tee and a cozy sweater or relaxed blazer. Finally, twist on a big scarf.

Lovely tips for travel.
I like to think that layering and simple makeup are good for travelling and while you are on holiday (and perhaps everyday life).
My tip would be always carry headphones and a bag big enough to fit all your essentials but small enough to keep underneath the seat in front of you (having to get up and down all the time on a plane or train can be the worst)
Now if only I had some trips planned to utilise these…

Great tip! Thanks Kelsey xx :)
Great tips! I myself never wear make-up on a plane (despite cringing when I look at myself in the lavatory mirror) because I find it’s the best time to lather up my skin with lots of treatments. Plus make-up always ends up looking shocking coming off the flight. Also the layer up tip is great cause planes are always so damn cold.

Good tips, I always carry a moisturizer with me when I go travelling. It is essential.

Definitely key tips – I always go makeup free but load up on Clarins Hydraquench and thick hand creams for moisture. Joggers, jumpers, socks, and lots of water and juice keeps me going!

Thank you Sophia! Such a big compliment!
How about packing jewelry and belt? I put mine on after security. And I ALWAYS bring an empty bottle for water.
