It’s the start of the academic year again. And I always use moving back to campus as an excuse to splurge on some college survival essentials! Here are some of my favorite, must-have items for going back to school
1.
THE PERFECT PLANNER
A new planner for the academic year is essential and a key step into the adult world. Never forget assignments, appointments, or meetings with friends again! Try and pick one that has space for writing to-do lists too, this Gold Foil Any Year Daily Planner is perfect.

COZY BLANKET
It doesn’t just keep you warm, it brightens up your room and makes it cozy! Wrap yourself up in your blanket while doing homework, watching Netflix or having a quick nap between classes. I live in my blanket during term time. We love this Amped fleece blanket, which comes in 4 different colors!

TINTED MOISTURIZER
Half asleep for a midweek 8 AM, hungover on a Monday morning, late for a lecture? Combine your moisturizer with your foundation to make for a faster skincare routine. This NARS one is amazing – lightweight, excellent coverage, natural glow, and SPF 30. Could it be more perfect?

AROMATHERAPY
After a long day of classes, or a heavy weekend of partying, relax in your room with some aromatherapy. Light a beautiful, gorgeous smelling candle and unwind. This New Look rosemary and mint scent smells fantastic and is really aesthetically pleasing in its rose gold jar.

A GOOD SWEATSHIRT
Never underestimate the value of a good quality sweatshirt. It’s the staple college student piece – perfect for classes, lectures, meetings with tutors, hanging out with friends, or popping to the 7-11 for midnight munchies. BATH & SHOWER PRODUCTS
Steaming up the bath or shower with the lovely fragrance of a shower gel is the best way to start your day (although you might never want to leave your bathroom and be late for class…!). 7.
A REALLY GOOD BACKPACK
