There’s really nothing better than organizing a day at the cinema with your friends (or significant other) and luckily this year is a real treat in terms of great movies! Get excited about these releases and forget about the work week with one of these great films!
Mothers and Daughters (May 6th)
This Mother’s Day why not take your Mom to see this sweet film about Mothers and Daughters. Guaranteed to bring laughter and tears, this film is the perfect way to end a girly day.
Me Before You (3rd June)
Don’t worry – you’ve got time to read the book before the movie comes out. We defy you not to cry during the book (or watching the trailer!). This film is sweet, funny and sad in all the right ways and after you’ve watched it you can even read the sequel to find out what happens next!
Finding Dory (June 17th)
Not a typical ‘career girl’ movie (if there even is one!) but definitely one for all the Finding Nemo lovers out there. Yes, they’re back! Take your siblings, borrow your friend’s children or just go by yourself and have a blast from the past!
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (July 8th)
What’s not to love about Zac Efron and Adam Devine as a pair of rebellious brothers? This hilarious film is just in time for wedding season and shows the boys bringing two respectable dates (Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza) who turn out to be just as messed up as they are.
Ghostbusters (15th July)
The highly anticipated Ghostbusters follow up has us all pretty excited. With its all-female cast and the extremely funny Melissa McCarthy this film should be a spooky treat!
The Girl On The Train (October 7th)
If you love thrillers, you’ve probably already read The Girl On The Train from cover to cover, so you’ll be pretty excited to hear that there is, in fact, a movie starring Emily Blunt coming out in October. If you want something to look forward to in the colder months it’s this.
Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them (November 18th)
Every Harry Potter fan in the world is hyped for the next installment of the wizarding world. Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them stars Eddie Redmayne and promises to take us all back to the days when we waited patiently for our letter from Hogwarts.
