#1 – Spinach
The vegetable that is famous for making you as strong as Popeye. Spinach has 2 antioxidants that are good for you immune system and are important for your eye health: lutein and zeaxanthin. Apart from that, spinach is also rich in vitamin B and iron, so this vegetable is definitely a superfood!
#2 – Broccoli
Broccoli is probably one of the underrated vegetables but is good for a lot of things. Pick any life-threatening disease and broccoli might help you beat it, some scientists believe. The best way to keep all the good vitamins and disease-fighting benefits in the broccoli is to steam it.
#3 – Oatmeal
Unsweetened fiber-rich oats are really good for your body. Research even shows that it helps to prevent Type 2 Diabetes. If you want to benefit from oats, you have to eat approximately 1/2 cup a day. This can be combined with fresh fruits at breakfast, but what a lot of people forget is that you also can use oats to coat fish or chicken and bring texture to meatballs.
#4 – Beans
Beans are full of things that our human body needs. From fiber to the key nutrients that we need, including calcium and magnesium. Studies show that beans help to reduce the risk of high blood pressure, heart diseases, and breast and colon cancers. You can eat them in salads, pureed on your sandwich or the English way, beans on toast.
#5 – Salmon
My absolute favorite. Salmon is rich of Vitamin D and one of the best omega 3 sources in our world. This fish has many health benefits, like reducing the risk of heart diseases, it is good for your skin and boosts your mood. Eat it grilled, smoked, in sushi or out of the oven, Salmon is always a good choice for lunch of dinner.
#6 – Almonds
One of the super nuts! Almonds are good for a lot of things, they are rich of omega 3 fatty acids, which can help to reduce cholesterol. Just like with Salmon, omega 3 also helps to boost your mood and fight cancer and some scientist even say that it protects you against sun damage.
#7 – Garlic
Probably not the best things to eat before you go on a date or to a party, but garlic is one of those foods that is really healthy, especially when you eat it raw. Garlic is known to be a powerful disease fighter and contains Allicin, which helps to lower the blood pressure and cholesterol.

Oatmeal is my go to food! I adore it and it goes great with fruit. I also really like almonds but you can’t really find them where I live so that’s not an option.
That’s for the extra info!
