Stress is a normal part of a Career Girl’s life. But you don’t have to accept that your stress levels will rise, unmanaged, the more successful you get.

One great thing about the 21st Century is that our phones come with us wherever we go, and yes – there are some apps that will help you chill out and take some deep breaths.

Breathe2Relax

Greater control over your breathing can help manage your ‘fight-or-flight’ response.

Use this app when you need a moment of calm to bring your surrounding and your thoughts back into clear focus.

Headspace

Headspace is your own personal trainer. Don’t sweat, with this app you’ll be training your mind to help you focus more, reduce stress and even live and eat better.

Gratitude Journal

Did you know that practising gratitude can rewire your brain? Spending five minutes daily reflecting on everything you have to be grateful for with this app can make you a happier, healthier person.

Happify

To be successful we need to care for our emotional well-being as a priority. Happify can help you stay on top of your mental health and live a more positive life.

My Mood Tracker

Need to cry, sleep or squeeze something fluffy? Who knows. Rather than sitting in a lump marinating in bad feels – download this app. Begin recognizing your emotions and treat those gloomy funks in a positive, productive way.

7 Minute Workout

‘The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea.’ (Thanks, Instagram). When you’re all cried out and you live nowhere near the sea, sometimes you’ve just got to actually, get up and work out. With this app anyone can manage seven minutes to combat stress.

Worry Watch

This app is a stress journal that you can take around with you. It will help you free up a little head space and handle your emotions in a healthy way that doesn’t involve lashing out at the cat or a stranger on the tube.

Love these! Can’t wait to try them! My favorite app to use to relax is Stop, Breathe, and Think. It’s an amazing meditation app and the guided voices are great to help you relax and focus on what’s important. Good post!

I was hoping to see the Stop, Breathe and Think app in this article, I love it so much! It’s the only app I’ve ever spent my money on (In-app purchases, that is. Tho it’s amazing without them as well). When I first started it, I meditated 60 days in a row!!! Felt amazing that time : )
