7 Work Friendly Perfumes That Won’t Get You Fired

7 Work Friendly Perfumes That Won't Get You Fired

Who said that perfumes and jobs don’t mix? More and more workplaces may be strongly discouraging, if not outright banning, the use of fragrances, but that doesn’t mean you can’t smell good at the office. The trick is to be subtle, opting for light, understated perfumes that enhance the smell of your skin without giving your co-workers a headache. Here are seven that you can safely wear and enjoy without fearing they’ll get you fired:

Delicate and Fresh
L’Artisan Parfumeur Mandarine celebrates the fruity and radiant simplicity of mandarin, giving you a true taste of the Mediterranean. Tangy green, zesty yellow, and sweetly ripe, each nuance reflects a different stage of the fruit’s maturity.

Feminine and Slightly Powdery
As the ultimate career girl, Donna Karan knows how to create delightful scents that are office-friendly. A feminine, slightly powdery and subtle mix of jasmine, bergamot, amber, and musk, Donna Karan Cashmere Mist EDT recalls the luxurious feel of cashmere upon a woman’s skin.

Creamy and Musky
Your-skin-but-better scent. Hints of sheer honeydew and dewy petals disappear into a creamy and musky vanilla base that evokes the natural and enticing smell of bare skin. Clean Skin is so understated, no one will know you’re wearing perfume. But they’ll notice how good you smell!

Subtle and Feminine
The freshness of lotus and mint paired with the sensuality of cedar wood and wide musk. The result is L’Eau Par Kenzo, a subtle and feminine scent that captures the flavours and colours of water.

Fresh and Clean
Pure Soap is The Library Of Fragrance’s bestseller, and it is easy to see why. Inspired by the scent of skin just scrubbed with old fashioned Ivory Soap, Pure Soap makes you smell like you’ve just stepped out of the shower. Fresh and clean, it’s a fragrance even the most anti-perfume lady in your office will be glad you’re wearing!

Oriental Paradise
Luminous and delicate, Dior Escale à Pondichéry is inspired by the scents and tastes of India. Extract of black tea, essence of cardamom, essence of sandalwood and absolute of sambac jasmine will transport you into an oriental paradise, without your co-workers ever noticing you’ve left your cubicle.

Sunny and Bright
As delightful as it is elusive, Prada Infusion D’Iris is the perfect work fragrance for the summer season. It opens with a sunny and bright citrusy accord and morphs into and earthy bouquet of iris that gets smoother and softer as the hours pass. No one but you will be able to smell it on your skin.

Great suggestions. Long time ago I worked in a office, where the Vice President, a women, wore Chanel No. 5 and a lot of it. Her office was just off the reception area and that is all I could smell the whole day. By the end of the day I had such a headache, I was popping Tylenol like crazy. Thankfully, it was a temporary position and I was only there for two weeks.
