The 8-Step Beauty Sleep Routine You Should Be Doing Before Bed

We know what we should be doing in the morning. But, when it comes to our evenings, after a long day at work, Netflix and pass out is the only thing we can manage! You’ve spent the whole day being/trying to be healthy, so why not continue this on whilst you’re in dreamland? When you’re finally getting that must-needed beauty sleep, try these life-saving beauty hacks that will take you from Snoozerella to Beauty Queen.

1. Keep your hair clean

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo available here.

I know this sounds weird, but it really works. Promising yourself that you will get up early and shower in the morning doesn’t always work out (at least it never does for me). So, if you haven’t got time to wash your hair in the morning, try spraying some Dry Shampoo into your roots the night before and let that oil soak up overnight. Why didn’t you think of that earlier? Buy it here.

2. Get your vitamins once a week

Shiseido Ibuki Beauty Sleeping Mask available here.

If you can’t do a face mask with your friends every Friday, apply one every week and let the vitamins sink into your skin whilst you rest. This one will help undo all the damage that the city has done! Buy it here.

3. Improve your skin

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream available here.

There’s a reason we always bang on about this magic cream, the results you get from one use are incredible. This is a product that will literally change your genetics overnight (okay maybe that’s a bit far out) but it does mean you wake up with smooth, even-toned skin, and somehow reduces spots overnight too. I’m slightly suspicious that it has some actual magic inside it. Buy it here.

4. Eliminate dryness

Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil available here.

If you’re not a fan of sleeping with cream on your face, simply squirt a few drops of this beautiful oil on your hands and massage it onto your face before you go to sleep. It’s an overnight solution for fine lines and wrinkles, large pores, and dryness, so you can wake up feeling (and looking) fresh. Buy it here.

5. Upgrade your pillow

Slip Embroidered Silk Queen Pillow Case available here.

Now, this is an old wives tale but there’s a reason your mother’s know about it. Hair is sometimes uncontrollable, and the wrong pillow will make it even worse. If you wonder why you wake up with moisturizer in your hair, lines on your face and half of it defying gravity, you’ve got the wrong pillowcase. This one was actually designed for beauty sleep, and we love it! Buy yours here.

6. Banish acne

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion available here.

Don’t spend your morning worrying over that huge red thing on your face, set up your defenses the night before. With so many products claiming that they can cure your zit problem, I thought I’d share my holy grail. The best-rated acne product around, this will get rid of every skin problem while you sleep, thanks to it’s drying capabilities. Love it! Buy it here,

7. Sleep well

ThisWorks Deep Sleep Night Oil available here.

No more yawning in the office, no more complaining about last night’s awful sleep. We all have those nights where we feel we haven’t slept a wink. But not anymore. This product has essential oils that have some major soothing properties, even so, that they can even keep those migraines away. Buy it here.

8. Wake up with silky hair

Ouai Hair Oil available here.

No one has any time to go to the salon every week, so if you want to wake up with shiny, silky, soft hair. Get a hair oil that contains oils that will treat damage, repair split ends, tame frizz and condition the hair. This one is a wonder product, you’ll LOVE it! Buy it here.
