The kind of successful person who has the perfect balance is very health conscious. Unfortunately if you neglect your health it’s pretty hard to be successful, because burnouts and lack of motivation happen when you aren’t taking care of yourself. Here are ten things that super successful people do for a healthier body and mind.




Yoga is great for getting a good night’s sleep, increasing flexibility and encouraging blood flow. It’s super easy to get started, in fact, there are a number of apps you can use to get in shape and start yoga, check out our list here. You only need 15 minutes a day to do this, and it helps clear the mind after the stresses of work – so it’s perfect for busy girls.




Any successful person knows the benefits of a stress-free environment and that’s why they look for candles and sprays they can use to create a beneficial space. If you want to bring aromatherapy into your space, citrus and lemon scents bring energy, lavender is great at curing sleep deprivation and anxiety and woody scents are perfect for relaxation.


Oil Pulling

Oil pulling is a natural way to whiten your teeth and prevent tooth decay. All you need is one teaspoon of oil (coconut is the best), swish it around your mouth like mouthwash for 5 minutes and then continue with your normal brushing routine. Easy!



Volunteering your time and skills is a great way to give back to the community which boosts your mood. It can kick-start your career, too, so check out local opportunities to volunteer or events you can help organize for a good cause.


Healthy foods


Treat yourself in moderation, and opt for healthy foods like soups and salads. If you need some inspiration, we made the most delicious super healthy breakfast bowl in just a few minutes. Also, try to eat inflammation-reducing foods like almonds, oily fish, dark leafy greens and whole grains.

Going for a walk in the park is seriously beneficial for any successful girl. Usually, the only walking we do is around the shops, but for mental and physical health an early morning walk in a leafy park is amazing.

    Great article. I love yoga in the mornings to energise me and have just recently started oil pulling. It is a revelation. The only thing I would add is power naps – they can be a great way to refresh you and give you a new lease of life. I also think herbal teas, and hot water with lemon in the morning can be really beneficial and a goof way of getting extra H2o.
