Do you wake up feeling like you’re winning at life? If not, why not? You only get one chance to make your life the best it can be. Feeling like you’re winning at life simply requires you to do your best, be kind to yourself, and accept that you’re not perfect. You can do anything you put your mind to. You’re winning at life if you stop to take a minute and look at everything you’ve achieved so far this year and feel proud.
The Win At Life system helps you to feel as though you’re winning at life by balancing every area of your day and having enough time for the people and things that matter to you. Stop feeling like time is slipping away from you and get back in control of your life with the Win At Life Journal. In the meantime, here are nine little ways you can feel like you’re winning at life right now:
1. MEAL PREP EVERYTHING
There’s a reason so many people swear by meal prepping, it just takes the hassle out of thinking about lunch and dinner, and stressing over what you’re going to eat. It’s one of the simplest ways you can Win At Life. Tracking your meals and your snacks. Stop yourself from reaching for things that aren’t healthy by preparing healthier alternatives like vegetables, hummus, dark chocolate, and yogurt.
2. MAKE A CUP OF TEA
Tea can be used to help you get to sleep, to calm your nerves, to settle your stomach. A good cup of tea can do wonders, so boil a kettle and make yourself a cup. You can even use it to feel more energetic and productive. Taking a moment out to drink a cup of tea can help you get back on track.
3. BUY MINI ESSENTIALS AND KEEP THEM WITH YOU
Fill your bag with a few mini essentials, deodorant, perfume, eyeliner, concealer, lipstick. You’ll never regret it because you don’t know what life will throw at you. Drinks after work, a date, an important meeting, a networking opportunity, all of these things require quick touch-ups, and if you have a kit with you, you won’t have to worry.
6. ORGANIZE YOUR BAG
One thing you need to do to feel more in control of your life is organize your bag, your purse, and your keys. These days you can put all your store cards on your keychain (and you should to keep them organized), thoroughly purge your purse of foreign currency and other random bits, and clean out your bag of sand, chewing gum wrappers, and whatever else you have inside it.
7. MAKE A DATE WITH YOUR FRIENDS
Jennifer Lawrence has dinner with her friends once a week. You should too. Not only is it a great break from work, and a chance to catch up, it’s also shown to boost your mood and help you be more productive. Giving your brain that much-needed break and spending time having fun with your friends will help you de-stress.
8. WORK ON YOUR PERSONAL GOALS
You need to spend some time working on your personal goals and dreams, and actually track how much time you give to yourself. You probably have your own goals, whether you want to work out every day, write a novel, learn to speak a new language, or just have other, far-reaching goals. Dedicate some time every day to your goals and you’ll feel more fulfilled.
9. GO OUTSIDE
Whether you schedule in a dog walk, a little stroll through the park or you decide to go all out on a weekend hike, the more time you spend outdoors and with nature, the more productive and grounded you’ll feel. Boost your confidence and feel like you’re winning at life by getting out and doing stuff, even going for a run outside can work wonders for your self-confidence.
