An Ode To 4 Young Inspiring Career Girls Doing Powerful Things

Wednesday morning, the week is in half and we can all use some motivation, inspiration and feel-good news. With International Women’s Day just around the corner, it is time to celebrate us females and all the wonderful things we have done.

This week we bring an ode to young girls who will go down in history for their braveness, ambition and incredible work for humanity!

#1 – Malala Yousufzai

Malala Yousafzai

She was shot by the Taliban in Pakistan because of the fact that she is supporting girls’ right to education. Nowadays she is still an activist for female education and the youngest person ever who has received the Nobel Prize of Peace. She travels the world inspiring and motivating people to stand up for girls’ right in education.

#2 – Dominique Harrison-Bentzen

Dominique Harrison Bentzen

The story around this pretty woman started in December 2014. A homeless man wanted to give Dominique his last 3 pounds so she could pay for a taxi to get home safely. She was so touched and inspired by the kindness of this caring man that the day after she decided to raise money for him so he could pay the deposit on a flat. Within 24h she reached her target and was able to help this wonderful man out.

#3 – Emma Watson

Emma Watson

She gives kick-ass feminist advice to girls on Twitter, is one of the few ‘child-stars’ that did not go down the ‘wrong’ path and is one of the role models of our time, Emma Watson got it all!

Her inspiring speech for the HeForShe campaign went viral and Emma proved again, everything she touches becomes gold.

#4 – Grace Jones

Graces Jones

With only 15 Grace Jones is already a role-model for girls and boys around the world. She is one of the young leaders that are representatives for Project Sunlight, an initiative from Unilever and Oxfam. This project is established to make people aware of the fact that we can not keep wasting food, while other people go hungry. Grace is an inspiring advocate for this cause and with her incredible way of public speaking, ambition and motivation she will definitely make a change in this world.

  1. She’s not even close to be famous but I just have to say it’s my mum. She inspires me with her endless kindness and flexibility. She puts other people’s happiness above her own but I guess that makes her happy too.

  2. Wow – I have just googled Grace Jones, what an inspiring young lady! This has really inspired me. Everyone has the ability to make a change, and this just proves it. My family are inspiring to me. Wherever they have come from (poland, italy, ireland) they have found their path, and what makes them happy!
