A Basic Formula For A Happier Life

@hoskelsa

There is in fact of a formula for a happy life. You can live your best life, enjoy every day and wake up early feeling positive and fresh.

It’s right at your fingertips. And all you need to do is follow a simple, basic formula that’s really not hard to follow or even difficult to achieve.

All it takes is a few simple steps and your willingness to help you live a happier, healthier life. Are you ready? Scroll down to find out how to be a happier version of yourself:

1. Happiness starts from the outside in

In order to give yourself the best chance of happiness, you need to make sure what you’re putting into your body is right for it and of course, healthy.

Unhealthy foods are linked to depression and a lower quality of life. So, by working on giving your body the right nutrients and fuel it needs to run properly, means you will really start to feel the difference. And even start to feel happier too.

Challenge: Put healthy foods and nutrients into your body for five days of the week to notice a drastic change in the way you feel about yourself.

2. Then the inside out

Next, you need to determine the root cause of what could be holding you back from happiness. You’ll have to ask yourself some difficult question and then even do difficult things to change it.

But once you point out the main causes of your unhappiness, you’ll know what you need to do next. Don’t let anything hold you back or down. Remember that you deserve the best, always. You just have to be strong enough to achieve it and you can be!

Challenge: Determine the things that make you unhappy. Even if you had to do this every week. As soon as you figure it out, take action and cut it from your life. Don’t let anything hold you back.

3. Focus on the things you do love

Surround yourself with people, hobbies, and tasks that really give you a boost. And it could be as simple as just reading a book, or cooking a meal.

You’ll be able to get back to the real you by filling these moments in your life with happy memories that will make you smile when you look back on them. It’s these happy memories that will push you into a happier future.

Challenge: Make a list of all the things that make you have or to make you happy. Remember to add to the list as you discover new things. Now, work your way through the list and do the things that make you smile. Make sure to tick off five of these off a week!

4. But live in the moment

Thinking ahead too far in the future can cause unnecessary stress and worry. Whilst planning towards your future is good, try to live in the moment more. It will allow you to relax and enjoy the right here, and the right now.

Sometimes we can miss the little things that are in everyday life because we won’t let ourselves see them. But they could, in fact, bring us a lot of happiness. And by living in the moment you’ll be opening yourself up to this by just going with the flow.

Challenge: Leave your Saturday unplanned and see where it takes you, start at home and make your way out of the house. Try really living in the moment and let that take you from spot to spot.

5. Throw yourself into the unknown

Breaking out of your comfort zone can be scary, but it can also do the most amazing things for you. By allowing yourself to say yes to things you usually wouldn’t you’ll be opening yourself up to a new world you never knew existed.

Trust me when I tell you that this will make you a lot happier! New experiences mean new memories and they are always something you can look back and smile on. Don’t be afraid to try something new, you never know, you might actually enjoy it.

Challenge: Every week say yes to five things you would usually decline and don’t cancel them at the last minute. Put the effort in and go out and live your life.
