You can make your bedroom more luxurious by simply choosing the right items and accessories.
You can transform any space from drab to fab, and it’s really less work than you think.
If there’s one thing I’m always doing, it’s redecorating my house and getting it to the standard I want it to be.
It might not be the biggest space, but when it’s well decorated it will be perfect. It will be home.
So, if you’re in need of some serious decorating motivation, then just take a look at these before and after photos that will have you running for the paintbrush!
MODERNIZE YOUR KITCHEN
Brightening up any space will make it feel fresher, bigger and cleaner. And this is easily done even if you don’t have a lot of light in the room, by just going safe with white.
But you can inject color into your furniture and accessories like these yellow stools that just bring some vibrancy to the room.
MAKE YOUR OFFICE MORE EXCITING:
It’s the one place you can really go and be your best self. It’s an expression of you and what you do. So, you need to make sure it works for you.
Because it needs to inspire you. And color scheme, furniture, and organization can really affect all of this. Keep it bright, avoid dark colors and have some metallic accents to keep it modern.
MAKE YOUR SPACE SOPHISTICATED:
Play with the elements in your room. Figure out what you like and want to keep, and figure out what you want to change.
But one of the ways you make your space sophisticated is by including very particular pieces that make your home feel more luxurious.
It’s everything from side pillows, to ottomans, to throws. But sophistication can mean cozy, and you can do this by making the space warmer.
OPEN UP THE SPACE:
You don’t have to use white to open up the space, you can indeed use neutral colors that will do the same job.
As long as you don’t use darker colors, which should be reserved for bigger spaces you’ll be fine.
If you want to be colorful, you can choose to do so in your furniture. It’s your chance to be really cool, and design a home worthy of Pinterest.
MAKE SMALL ROOMS LOOK BIGGER:
Small spaces can always be made bigger, just like you can always fill a larger space. I wrote an article fully on this the other day if you want to check it out here.
For making spaces bigger, use white for your key pieces and inject some colors into your accessories, but make sure you choose metallics as they bounce light.
Mirrors are also amazing for making a room seem brighter and bigger.
