There are many things you can do with a bottle of champers, mix it with fruit juice, fold it into a delicious cake, make classy cocktails with it, and even – if the occasion allows, drink it out of the bottle! But did you know that champagne has benefits for your beauty too, and no we don’t mean that glow you get if you drink too much! Check out these three tantalising uses for bubbly and how they can benefit your beauty regime!
For Your Face.
Obviously not everybody has unlimited bottles of champagne to pop whenever they need a little beauty remedy, but if you ever feel inclined, champagne has a lot of good properties that are useful for your skin and hair. It can be used on a cotton pad as a toner or as an ingredient in a homemade mask. All you need is 1/4 cup Champagne, 4 ounces of powdered clay mask and 2 tablespoons of heavy cream or plain yogurt. Combine the champagne and cream in a bowl and slowly mix the clay mask a little at a time. Apply on your face for 15-20 minutes and apply a moisturiser after for beautiful looking skin.
For Your Hair.
Champagne can leave your hair with extra sparkle and bring out the tone of your dye or natural highlights, all you need to do is mix half a cup of champagne with half a cup of hot water and rub it on your hair. Let it sit for 15 minutes and then wash it out as usual for a salon perfect shine.
For Your Body.
If you’re really looking for a sumptuous and over the top bathing experience, use a salt scrub before pouring a cup or two of champagne in with your bubble bath and enjoy being one of those girls who can afford to soak herself in a real bubbly bath!
Although it seems a bit luxurious, countless dermatologists have agreed that champagne does have chemicals in it that can benefit your skin and hair, so why not try it (if you have a cheap bottle around!)
