Kendall Jenner is not the only member of her family to be the brand ambassador of a famous beauty ‘maison’. On the day of her 67th birthday, Caitlyn Jenner revealed that she’s teamed up with MAC in order to donate $1.3 million to the transgender community.

21 organizations, including GLAAD, The Los Angeles LGBT Center, and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York, are receiving the funds distributed by Jenner and the MAC AIDS Fund’s Transgender Initiative.

The collaboration between Jenner and the Canadian makeup brand was made official last April when Finally Free, a limited-edition lipstick designed by Caitlyn, was first released. Since then, the MAC Transgender Initiative has sold thousands of the nude lipsticks (that cost $17), for a total of $1.3 million.

“I’ve been granted an extraordinary platform, one built upon the work of countless, and too often nameless, trans people who came before me,” Jenner acknowledged to Style Caster, “I’m honored to be a part of this moment, and to give back to the community to whom I owe so much.”

This is a pretty amazing piece of news, it’s always great to see large companies backing good causes. What do you think of this?
