Meet Sandra Willer. She’s a 19-year-old Danish girl from Copenhagen, who works full-time as a model and fashion blogger at Blog By Sandra. Sandra is a great example of a hard-working career girl who knows what she wants and goes for it. We sat down for a chat with Sandra to find out how she became a super successful blogger in her country!
What Was Your First Job Ever?
“Selling ice creams at a local veteran rally haha!”
What Was Your Dream Career As A Little Girl?
“When I was a little girl, I really wanted to be a singer. But I just can’t sing and I am pretty sure I am tone deaf, so my family quickly turned that dream down for me, as they asked me to stay quiet. But I actually think that’s better for a child than if the parents just lead their children into thinking they can do things they actually can’t. But yeah, I really wanted to become the new Hannah Montana! Luckily I found my calling somewhere else, and that’s probably best for everyone!”
What Is Your No. 1 Career Tip?
“To go out and ask for true feedback, I know from myself that I have had to work a lot on receiving constructive criticism, otherwise I can’t grow. Often you shouldn’t take it personally when people criticise you, but instead use it to better yourself. Also, always ask the people you look up to for help, you have nothing to lose! Even though you may have to cross some lines, it’s worth it. Keep going!”
What’s The Best Inspirational Book You’ve Ever Read?
“Right now, I am reading ‘The Success Principles’ by Jack Canfield. I really like that one, because it is tangible and focuses on money as well. Sometimes money is a taboo in inspirational books and sometimes it’s more like a hidden agenda in them, so I really like that it has some more concrete tips and tricks.”
