#Careergirlchallenge Update 3 + Personal Diary

DSC_0044We can’t believe the CGD challenge has started today! During the next 30 days, we need your dedication. This is when you decide nothing will stop you. Today is when you make a commitment to your health, happiness and achieving your goals in general. Career Girls are healthy too! It’s going to be so worth it, we promise.

Celina’s Diary


Earlier I used to wakeup after a lot of alarm snoozes, go for a quick shower and then dash to the office. I used to skip breakfast a lot and it was hard for me to focus myself on work. After coming back home I felt exhausted. This affected my health and mind a lot. My stress levels increased. It’s time for a change and a new routine.

Today, I woke up at 7am and started my day with this motivation video.It refreshes me and prepares me for the day. There’s also an app called Calm. It teaches you meditation using small modules and some soothing sounds. I started with meditating for 5 minutes in the morning. My mind is a wanderer of thoughts. It is hard for me to focus on one thing at a time. Meditation will hopefull teach me how to let go of my thoughts and anxieties.

After my meditation, I have a big glass of lemon water and oatmeal for breakfast to get my body going! A healthy chicken salad for lunch and for dinner Skinny Fajitas! So easy to make and really tastes good

In the evening, I decided to do the CGD workout Day 1 and some Yoga before going to bed.  Yoga before bed can be some of your best defence against insomnia. By calming down your body and your mind, you’re putting yourself in a better position for sweet and restful slumber.

I can’t wait till tomorrow!





It’s simple, upon waking up, squeeze some fresh lemon juice into a glass, fill with warm water and drink. And it has myriad health benefits, from helping your immune system to offering an antioxidant boost.Lemon is packed with vitamin C, which can help boost the immune system, Lemons are very high in bioflavonoids that destroy harmful free radicals that damage blood vessels and cause inflammation.



DAY 2 – 20 Minute Run

Get the most out of your workout when you’re short on time!


– Warm up with a 3-minute jog
– Then alternate between 1 minute of all-out sprinting and 2 minutes easy jogging
– Repeat so you complete this set 4 times in all
– Cool down by jogging another 5 minutes


– Simply head out the door and jog for 20 minutes
– Go at a pace slower than normal and focus on de-stressing
– It’s OK to go slow sometimes
