Meet The Team: Our Goals For 2020 And How We’re Going To Smash Them

We thought we’d take you behind the scenes at the CGD LONDON offices today.

It’s been a while since we did a team article, if you’ve been around as long as we have, you’ll remember that we had our original meet the team article all the way back in 2015 and we’ve certainly had a few team insights over the years, so we thought a good way to end the year would to grab a Christmas photo and share our goals for 2020 with you!

From saving money to traveling the world, we all have a couple of goals we want to make happen tucked under our very sparkly sleeves this year. Don’t forget to share your goals with us in the comments below – we love to hear how you’re going to make 2020 your year.

I have a lot of goals for 2020. Next year I want to take more time to develop myself. I also want to travel more, I’ve traveled a lot this year, and next year I want to see more of the world, I’d love to go to Australia and India.

As always, I want to smash it with CGD LONDON. We have big dreams and goals next year and I am so excited to make them happen!

And finally, I want to do more charity work. I think it’s really important to give back, there are so many really incredible charities out there that I’d love to support. While I was in China, I saw a documentary about human trafficking that really hit home and was really upsetting, so I’m going to look for charities involving modern slavery and homelessness. I can’t wait for 2020 and I’m going to start researching a few causes I can support next year!

One of my top goals for 2020 is to live life to the fullest. I want to take more risks and do more outside my comfort zone, whether that’s jumping out of a plane or public speaking. I also want to learn and develop some skills, for example, investing – I think it’s so important to learn what your money can do for you

I’m going to travel way more and spend more time with family and friends, read more widely and volunteer at least once every quarter. Volunteering was one of my goals for this year but we got so busy, so next year I’m really going to book it in advance and make time for it.

Next year I’m getting married (woop woop!) so one of my goals is to pull that off without a hitch (pardon the pun). We’re basically planning and decorating it all ourselves in my fiance’s family farm in Portugal so that’s quite a big goal – event planning! I also want to write a book next year.

I’m going to let go of things more easily next year and also focus on my health. I also want to start yoga and work really hard on all the new exciting things we have coming up with CGD LONDON. I think next year is going to be really fun and exciting and I know I’ll smash every goal I set myself as long as I stay dedicated!

Next year I want to work out more and eat better, that’s one of my main goals just to look after myself better and take care of myself. I also want to spend more time off social media, and learn to live without my phone a little more.

A more personal goal for me would be to make and sell my own greeting cards, I love getting crafty and designing things so I would love to make a few cards next year. I also want to save money, after working on the Give Yourself Credit journal I have so much inspiration to use my money better, and I want to spend more time reading – it’s a modern form of mindfulness that helps me unwind after a stressful day!
