We Have 15 Ideas To Change Your Life

@chey_maya

Are you looking to change your life? I bet that it’s no news to you that life isn’t so simple. In truth, it takes a lot of hard work, a lot of determination and a lot of TRYING.

And that’s where most people give up. The trying part. Because trying has no end to it, you keep working and you keep going until success is yours for the taking.

That’s the tough part. But whoever told you it was going to be easy?

But, in order to be successful and dominate your life you need to change one tiny thing; the way you think.

The way you think plays such an important part in your life as it affects every outcome. So, I’m going to show you how you can use your brain to get the outcomes you desire.

Are you ready to change your life?

1. Forget about comfort zones

This is a huge one for me. I get very comfortable, very fast, which stops me from doing the things I should be doing. Fear also comes into play here.

But you’re supposed to be challenged. Comfort zones are made to be broken. And after recently getting out of mine a wave of opportunities have just come my way. Coincidence? I think not.

So, challenge yourself. I mean it. For example, if you’re looking to take the next step in your career get out of your comfort zone and just do it!

Don’t let life pass you by.

2. Set your sights high

Think about it, if you aim low, you’ll achieve low results.

If I set myself the target of fifty sales this month and achieve it, it doesn’t mean I’m winning. It means I’m aiming low.

I’m probably capable of making one hundred sales this month, but that’s still not good enough because I can already do it. I need to aim higher.

So, instead, make the target of two hundred sales, challenge yourself, aim high with realistic intentions and smash it.

3. Be a problem solver

Are you the type of person who makes a mistake, apologizes for it and lets someone else sort it?

Or are you the person that recognizes the mistakes, owns up to it but resolves it in quick time?

Mistakes happen, it’s perfectly human. But if you can’t be a problem solver then you can’t achieve a better standard of living. You need to know and practice of resolving problems.

It will take the extra effort but it’s nothing you can’t handle. Remember to be SMART.

4. Approach your relationships differently

Assess your relationships, ask yourself why you’re in them.

If any of the answers you come up with sound anything like “I’m afraid to be alone”, “I’m scared how they’ll react” or “I need the money” then you need to cut it off.

The relationships you have, you carry. And they can seriously weigh you down and keep you from unlocking your best self.

So, why don’t you want to unlock that potential? Don’t let anyone be the reason to hold you back. There will be other people, better people, I promise.

5. Business is just, business

Understand that sometimes things are out of your control. Think of it as fate telling you that you need to do something different.

If you’ve been fired, for example, I bet it’s nothing personal. It’s not a personal attack against you, it’s just what the business had to do for them. Accept that, it’s fine.

Let it show you how you can instead be stronger and better. Everything is a learning experience, let it push you forward.

6. Be confident with your choices

As an adult, you need to be confident with the choices you make. You can’t doubt them. If you do that means you haven’t put in enough careful thought.

Stand by your decisions and trust them. Don’t be scared to make decisions, by prolonging them or doubting them you can actually create bigger issues for yourself. Sometimes it doesn’t matter if it’s the wrong one, you can always make a different one later.

7. Don’t let the fear of striking out… keep you from playing the game

So many people never start or try something because they think they aren’t capable.

Well, you’ve never been so wrong. Anyone can do anything as long as they are willing to learn.

Take blogs for example, are you scared to start one because there are SO MANY out there? Why should that stop you?

What if yours was different, better, smarter, more popular?

Don’t be scared of the hard work and strategic thinking you’ll have to do to make it better. You only have to be innovative and you gain inspiration from anywhere and everywhere.

Remember, there’s nothing you can’t do. And as you only get one life, why not try?

8. Are you a man or a mouse?

Some people are born leaders. Take me for example, I’m dominant, loud and very comfortable in a managerial situation.

But, not everyone is born this way. Some people are leaders, some are followers. And that’s ok. But if you want an amazing career, you need to be a leader. And you can do this even if you’re an introvert.

And it’s easy. All you have to do is accept responsibility.

9. Push your capabilities

If you’re not spending your time figuring out how you can be more productive then you need to start!

Productivity will be your save and grace and will help showcase your talents to the world. But if you’re not on the ball, or even quick enough then those capabilities don’t look very strong.

That’s why you need to be the master of productivity. Because at the end of the day, companies are only concerned with results.

10. Sell yourself

You may not realize this, but you sell yourself on a daily basis.

You sell yourself to your company, your boss, in interviews, meeting new clients, and even trying to impress a new guy.

And knowing how to sell yourself will be the difference in landing your dream job and landing a job you’re just comfortable in.

It’s so important to know how to pitch yourself and your skills to a company. You need to make them realize why they NEED you. And seeing as you know yourself better than anyone, you’re the best person for the job.

You just need to figure out how to communicate it.

11. Boost your confidence

One of the most proven ways to boost your confidence is by improving your skills.

Have you ever had to teach someone something? How did that make you feel? I bet it made you feel good, and confident, right?

That’s because you knew your shit. So, imagine how you would feel when you know A LOT MORE!

12. Understand the world around you better

Being happier within yourself first starts with understanding the world around you.

Take a long look. Nothing is really how it seems. You may be jealous of someone because by appearances they look like they have their shit together.

But that may not be the reality behind closed doors.

Don’t believe everything you see, and don’t believe everything you read.

13. Turn the negatives into positives

In order to succeed, you’re going to have to be able to deal with criticism.

As a writer, I’m used to it. My work gets criticized, picked at and pulled apart daily. But I never take it to heart and I’m never offended.

It’s feedback, it’s constructive. Someone is giving their time to make your work better and stronger, and this is something I can’t complain about.

It’s necessary, it’s business. So, don’t take it to heart, it’s not personal.

14. Make grown-up choices

An example of a grown-up choice is looking after your body.

Your health matters, so looking out for it as you get older is important! You don’t have your mum to book your doctor’s appointments for you anymore!

Put your health and body first – do things that will give you energy as it will only help you excel.

15. Slow it all down

You could be smashing it at work and that’s great. But what are you doing in your personal life?

Stand on your own two feet by doing something for you. Work on a side-project, write that book you’ve been dying to do.

I know sometimes life can take over, but you need to remember to slow it back down and live up to your own expectations too.
