Ask anyone what their must-have beauty product is and you’ll see their eyes light up. We all have that one hero product we’d call our best friend about, whether it’s a tried-and-tested tip from your grandma or a product you discovered by chance.
There is one product that I can’t live without. It’s the reason that at 8am when I arrived at The Hoxton for the Career Girl Academy with no makeup on my face, Celina said “You look seriously good without makeup! Seriously! You shouldn’t wear any.”
My secret is a magic moisturizer.
One that I’ve had my eye on for a long time, that Celina and Lois bought me for my birthday this year, that I didn’t think could be as good as the reviews but actually…turned out to be better.
It’s Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream. Yes, it’s quite pricey, but it’s so worth it. What makes it different is that it actively transforms my skin, I don’t have any spots at all anymore. I don’t know whether it’s actual magic or just magic ingredients, but my skin is so much better. To the point where I don’t think I can live without it. Foundation goes on smoother, trips to the shop sans makeup are pain-free, and my skin feels healthy and hydrated.
I could go on and on about how this moisturizer changed my life, but I worry I’d be losing the point. The point is, everybody swears by something different. I use this moisturizer at night and I’ll take it with me everywhere, the day of my wedding, the birth of my first child (maybe I’m exaggerating slightly!) but I want to know what beauty product you can’t live without.
