6 Things Healthy Girls Do Before 7am

How you start your morning is the key to setting the tone for the entire day. Hitting the snooze button for a few more extra minutes of sleep may seem like the best thing at the time. If you make the conscious effort to get up and incorporate a few healthy practices into your morning routine, you’ll find yourself more awake, more focused, and ready to take on the day! 1. They don’t hit snooze

Hitting snooze will only make you more tired. I know, it’s tempting to hit that button for a few more minutes in bed, but what impact will a few more minutes have? Get up, and get going! You’ll find yourself feeling wide awake within minutes.

2. They don’t check their phone

Your head is already full of the extensive lists you have to get through today. So, sitting on your phone is not how you want to start your morning. Put down the emails, texts, and social media for after you’ve been up for at least an hour. Turn your phone on Do Not Disturb at night and don’t turn it off until after you’ve gotten your day started.

3. They review their plan

Staying ahead of the day requires making a plan ahead of time, whether it’s at the end of the work day or before you get going, reviewing your upcoming tasks and figuring out how you’re going to stay ahead of everything will help you stay mentally and physically healthy. 4. They drink apple cider vinegar

Fill up a glass with water and add two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. Does it taste as good as your morning coffee? No, but it does help with acne scars, digestion, and lowers blood sugar (and therefore appetite). But you can add a small squirt of honey to make it a little easier to gulp down!

5. They write a gratitude list

A simple and effective way to set a positive and grateful outlook on the day. Keep a little notebook or journal and write down one thing you are grateful for each morning. It makes you realize how much you have to be thankful for, and looking back on the list while you’re feeling down is a great way to get your mood back up! Why not start your gratitude list now?

6. They eat a healthy breakfast

It really is the important meal of the day! It kickstarts your body, and fuels you up for the day, so try to have something with healthy protein! Try to steer clear of having a carb or sugar-loaded breakfast, since these won’t keep you full for more than an hour, and you’ll crash long before lunch. Try eggs and spinach, or avocado toast with chia seeds!

  1. I’ve never really understood why people are so in love with their snooze buttons? Granted, getting 8 hours of sleep does help but it really is so much easier to just get up and go. Also I don’t know why people skip breakfast!! I can’t do it!!

  2. As a suggestion when drinking ACV with water and/or maple syrup or honey, use a straw since ACV is very acidic and can weaken the state of your enamel.

  4. Sorry girls but those who has high livel of acid in their stomach (mostly people with fast digestion) gonna totally destroy it with apple ider vinegar!! Be sure of what you do!

  7. Use “real” Apple Cider Vinegar. There is a difference. What you buy in a typical grocer is pastuerized, filtered,…not raw, void of beneficial compounds…
