How I Get In Shape 2 Weeks Before My Holiday

It seems like yesterday that it was winter and we still had all the time in the world to get in shape for the summer. Now, my first holiday is just one and a half weeks away and I only have that time left to get in shape (I do believe that anything is possible).

So, what is my plan for the next couple of weeks? Well, I basically have to drastically change my lifestyle choices and become the healthiest girl I have ever known.

 1. Step up your working out routine
I do love a good workout, but getting off the couch while you’re binge-watching your favorite Netflix series can seriously be difficult.

But, since my first holiday is just 2 weeks away, I had no choice but to step it up. Going for a run every morning and to the gym after work sounds a bit much, but really helps you to start the day right and gives you an amazing feeling.

2. Swap unhealthy for healthy

We don’t need to go on a crash diet. First of all, it is not healthy, second of all, we love food way too much.

I simply swapped all my unhealthy habits with healthy ones. Zucchini instead of spaghetti, a vegetable frittata instead of quiche and fruits instead of candy are just 3 simple examples of swaps you can make.

Eating healthily is anything but boring because there are so many amazing recipes and delicious healthy foods out there (that are way better than candy or junk food).

3. Drink healthy

Coke, hot chocolate, and all those sugar bomb drinks are so unnecessary. Drink water, make a healthy smoothie or your own lemonade and green tea is always a good shout. Stay away from wine, cocktails, and alcohol in general, you will probably catch up on that during your holidays anyway.

 

4. Early nights and early mornings
Personally, I have late nights and early mornings, but working out twice a day changed this habit. In order to actually get up in the morning for my run, I need to have early nights, otherwise, it is not happening.
