Meet Hannah, a girl from New York who is a huge fan of one of CGD’s favorite television series: Gossip Girl. She did an interview with Seventeen about how she based her life on one of the leading characters in GG, Blair Waldorf.

When Hannah started watching Gossip Girl, she wanted nothing more than to become one herself. She was so intrigued by Blair Waldorf’s choice of clothing, hairstyle, and the life, that she used her as her muse. Even though Hannah realized that it was just a show and that it wasn’t real life, she decided that this was going to become her life, including the martinis in hotel bars after school and galas for Charity during the weekends.

She even got accepted at NYU, made her wardrobe Blair proof and ate at restaurants mentioned in Gossip Girl, even though she couldn’t afford it. She also became friends with a girl that went to the all-girl private high school that had inspired the high schools on GG.
This Gossip Girl inspired life went on for two years and she felt better than ever. She got internships at ELLE, Cosmopolitan and Seventeen magazine. Hannah, however, knew very well that the behavior of the Gossip Girls wasn’t always very appropriate, but as she says herself: “Gossip Girl gave me a path to follow when I was 15, feeling majorly lost about who I was and who I wanted to become, and I won’t ever apologize for that”.

such a unique story, i absolutely live gossip girl i think if i started to watch it as soon as it first came out when i was younger i would have felt exactly the same, blair is such an amazing and powerful character!
