How I Got Flawless Skin In Under A Week

Disclaimer: I’m the girl who never takes her makeup off at night, the one who wakes up and rejoices that her eyebrows are good enough to leave the house with. I’m the one most people tut at, I wake up with mascara on my forehead and on the bridge of my nose and I just layer more makeup on top of it and whizz out of the door. No harm, no foul – right?

I’ve actually been envying a lot of my friend’s for their clear complexions, and I keep hearing about the expensive treatments they’re using that sound inconvenient and sometimes painful. I’ve been using it for 5 days now, twice a day for 2 minutes. I’ve actually been encouraging friends and family to feel my skin afterwards, which is probably getting boring for everyone around me, but I’m just amazed.

As soon as I heard about this product, I had to wonder, is it better than my clarisonic? While I love my clarisionic, replacing the heads isn’t cheap and how quickly does the bacteria build up to the point where it is doing more harm that good? I can’t help but wonder if the Luna is really the better option!

I’ve been very intrigued by the Foreo Luna. I’ve used the Clarisonic for years, but eventually I noticed it was getting super gross, so I put it aside and opted for a “cheaper alternative” to the Foreo, which is the Sephora Pore Cleansing Pad. I like that Cleansing Pad, but I also feel like I could do better. Maybe one of these days I will get enough confidence to bite the bullet and buy myself a Foreo!

I ~have~ a Foreo Luna and this article barely touches on it.. it’s not just for cleansing.. you can also use the luna to help massage in your moisturisers and creams to really help them sink in, and also the anti aging programme is brilliant too! :) It DOES make a difference in a single wash. For those that have clairsonics – it’s different. You can’t use anything abrasive with it (so no microbeads / clay / charcoal cleansers) but you never have any parts to replace, and it IS a great deal less abrasive then clairsonic is – which is why you can use it twice a day…. One charge goes on forever – last time I charged my Luna was back in August and its still going strong. The Luna (NOT the mini) has adjustible speeds and the backside has the anti-aging ridges. Be careful which colour you choose as the different colours have different ‘zones’ – the white is for super sensitive skin, (I have the light blue one) it really IS the best investment you’ll make.

I’m deciding whether or not to purchase the Clarisonic Mia 2 or the Foreo Luna. I think the Luna would be better because you won’t have to spend more on getting new head brushes. The Luna sounds amazing from what I’ve heard! Thanks for the post :)
