Everyone owns a ‘savior’ beauty product for those days when you just can’t even. For me, that’s a concealer. Concealer can make me rockstar ready in minutes even after a ‘bad skin day’. You know where it goes and how to use it by now, the obvious places including under eyes, over blemishes; but you should probably try using concealer in other places, too. It can do miracles!
1. Brighten up your eyes
Putting concealer on the outer corners of your eyes and using a sweeping motion towards your brow bone can give you an instant eye lift to make you feel (and look!) more awake. Perfect for those hangover days!
NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer is one of the best I’ve ever tried. Not only does it cover blemishes, but it also evens skin tone and will make your skin smoother. No other concealer smooths out my skin too, but this one has skincare benefits too! Buy it here.
2. Conceal the redness
After putting your concealer in the obvious places, take the wand and add two lines from the sides of your nose down to your mouth, on your laughter lines! This helps to reduce the discoloration around your nose and mouth that might be making you look blotchy and tired. Try it next time you’re applying your makeup and marvel at the difference!
My other recommendation for an incredible concealer would be this beauty. I love this for a minimalistic look, I can’t believe how incredibly it works. Of course, I’m talking abut Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Concealer. This is perfect for minimal makeup, it blends in like a second skin but covers blemishes perfectly. It won’t sit on your skin and it’s not too heavy for a no-makeup look. Buy it here.
