Being your own encouragement is a mindset you need to develop. It is all about positivity and cheering for yourself in your journey to success.

In case you are not sure where to start or how you can become your own best friend, don’t worry, cause we got that covered, We give you 5 tips on how to be your own best friend and encouragement.

 #1 – Encourage others

Yes, you read it correctly, encouraging others will also help you to encourage yourself. People often think that by giving they are helping someone else, which is true of course, but you are helping yourself as well. By spreading positivity, you will get positivity and feel better about yourself.

#2 – Surround yourself with positive people

Positivity is always key! And no matter what you think or say, people will influence you, so why not make sure they influence you for the better? Negativity will only drag you down and make it impossible for you to be your own encouragement and have a positive life. So bring in the positive people!

#3 – Be your own biggest cheerleader

No one else can do it but you, so although this might sound a bit arrogant (it really isn’t) it will help you to create that positive, encouraging mindset.

#4 – Be fearless

Fear is a dangerous aspect in life and will only hold you back if you are afraid of it. Especially when you are trying new things, it is most of the time fear that will prevent you from doing it. By having this encouraging mindset and being your own cheerleader, you are able to use fear for the better and as your biggest motivation.

#5 – Don’t let doubt of others get to you

Sharing and discussing idea’s is always a good thing, but there will always be people that will doubt what you are doing or bring the ”what if..” to your life. Don’t let it get to you! You are the only one who can make the right decision for yourself, so trust your gut feeling and go for it.

Great piece! Of course we all know these points but it’s so easy to forget about them! Fear of failure is probably the biggest reason why we don’t act on our idea. Loved this post, keep them coming!

I agree with all of these so much – you need to support yourself before you can let others support you or help anyone else!
