Cravings are part of human nature and let’s be honest, we’ve all given into temptation, especially if it’s someone’s birthday in the office or you have to walk past the burger place every lunch time. It’s healthy to treat yourself once in a while, but learning how to handle your cravings is a must to keep yourself on track to a healthy lifestyle. When it comes to thinking about cravings, we like to take inspo from the top models!
So are you ready to take control of your cravings? Step away from the cheeseburger, back away from that chocolate bar – we’ve got your back!

1. Keep yourself busy
Boredom is enemy number one! A lot of the time when we find ourselves wanting to snack, it might just be because we’re bored – so get productive! Throwing yourself into work means you’re too busy being a career girl to think about those unhealthy cravings.
2. Assess your diet
Ask yourself whether you’re actually hungry, or just tempted by something delicious. Is your breakfast satisfying your hunger, or are you starving by 11am? Try switching up your breakfast to something that will leave you fuller for longer. Fountain’s The Beauty Molecule is so good for balancing a healthy diet. Every teaspoon contains as much resveratrol as 26,000 red grapes. It tastes amazing, makes me feel super energetic and alert and stops those annoying cravings! Buy it here.
3. Hydrate before it’s too late
Sometimes when we think we’re hungry, our bodies are telling us they’re dehydrated! Keeping a bottle of water on you at all times is a must, especially in this hot weather. Water may not sound as tempting as a chocolate chip cookie I know, but try jazzing up your regular bottle for some detox water by adding strawberries, lemon, and cucumber and you’ll be amazed at how much more energy you have and keep those cravings at bay.
4. Try healthy alternatives!
If you’re craving just isn’t going away, satisfy it with a healthy alternative! Don’t ignore your body telling you it’s hungry, but make healthy choices. Summer means amazing summer fruits! Strawberries, watermelon, kiwi etc. all make for delicious, healthy, low-calorie snacks that will leave you feeling satisfied!
5. Schedule your meals
As career girls, we love to organize and schedule everything we do, and our diet should be no different! Having set times you eat breakfast lunch and dinner lets your body get used to these times, and you’ll find you get fewer cravings the more you stick to this plan. This tip also means you have more time to pre-plan your food, so you can get creative with healthy recipes.
