Cravings are part of human nature and let’s be honest, we’ve all given into temptation, especially if it’s someone’s birthday in the office or you have to walk past the burger place every lunch time. It’s healthy to treat yourself once in a while, but learning how to handle your cravings is a must to keep yourself on track to a healthy lifestyle. 1. Keep yourself busy

Boredom is enemy number one! A lot of the time when we find ourselves wanting to snack, it might just be because we’re bored – so get productive! Throwing yourself into work means you’re too busy being a career girl to think about those unhealthy cravings.

2. Assess your diet

Ask yourself whether you’re actually hungry, or just tempted by something delicious. Is your breakfast satisfying your hunger, or are you starving by 11am?   1. I always used to eat just because I was bored at work or out of habit. I also think we sometimes substitute for food for a non-food craving. Like, we’re feeling lonely and find ourselves craving some comfort food when what we’re really looking for is some human interaction!

    It saddens me to see a guilt-inducing article feeding into skinny/diet culture. Sure, eating feel-good foods (i.e., strawberries) and drinking water may be good for you. But sometimes so is a burger and fries. Oftentimes, not honoring our food cravings can lead to a binging/restricting cycle (as many of us can attest to, I’m sure). Moving away from rigid food rules can provide your brain with so much more energy to focus on your work. But some of these tips may be helpful for the busy “career woman.”

    Although most of us aren’t being paid big $$$ to walk the runway, some of these tips may actually be helpful for the busy career girl. So maybe a simple change in headline would be helpful?
