5 Simple Steps To Design A Life You Love

photo: Lisa Olsson

Wake up in the morning with a spring in your step. Laugh on your way to the office, skip and jump in the rain. Those are the things people who are in love with life do, right? We all want to be happier, we want to design the life we’ve always dreamed of.

Have you heard that quote, be the CEO your parents wanted you to marry? That quote gets me because I’m ready to take my life into my own hands. Are you? Here are a few steps to falling in love with your life.

Step one: If you believe it, you will see it!

It sounds cheesy, but regardless, it’s the first step you need to come to terms with when designing a life you love. Understand that you are capable of living a life you can wake up and fall in love with every day! Believe in your own success and it will happen! If you’re always in a state of learning, you will always be chasing success. The Ultimate Blog Plan will teach you everything you need to know to be successful online starting with who you are and what skills you can use to create success and ending with how to partner with brands and become an influencer. Work on believing in your own success here. But hurry, there are limited copies available and once they’re gone – they’re gone!

Step two: Get more gratitude

We often forget to be grateful for the little things. It’s been said that a grateful mind is a happy mind, and once you start being grateful, you might just realize that you already have a life worth loving. Realizing that you are capable of many things is a great start to already falling in love with your life, while also understanding there are things you want to tweak here-and-there. I love Kikki-K’s Grateful journal. They always do the coolest books and journals, but this one is perfect for when you’re feeling anxious or need to remember why you’re doing what you’re doing.

Step 3: Pause

So we all have habits that we want to incorporate in our life and habits we want to detach from. Take some time to pause and make a list of both categories. Maybe you want to take a walk around the park on Sundays, or perhaps you want to read more books and watch less television. Writing down what it is you want to change helps to push you into really taking that step to designing the life you want. Never forget that you need time for yourself, no matter how full your life is. You need to unwind.

Step 4: Just go for it, girl!

Stop talking, stop delaying. Just do it. Whatever it is you’ve been wanting to do, whatever will make you happy. If you just want more time to yourself, think about how you can incorporate these changes into your everyday life. A great way to do this is to schedule the things you want into your day-to-day routine. Be sure to take it step-by-step. Little by little, you’ll get there!

Step 5: Remember you’re in control

Stop blaming the universe, the woman who spilled her coffee on you, or the weather for your outlook on life. You are in control, and that’s a good thing! You should love your life every single damn day, and work on loving it even more, every step of the way! We’ve got your back, so if you need more reason to be happy, click here!
