Bikini season is getting closer and closer. Before you know it that bulky sweater we use to hide will have to be put away. But we all know too well that it’s easy to become bloated.  Especially when you decide to be naughty and treat yourself to that bowl of pasta when you are out with the girls. Kicking carbs to the curb forever is almost impossible, and hey, we deserve to live a little! So, by introducing probiotics and chlorophyll into our diets we can help flatten our tummies without feeling as guilty when we do indulge.

1.Probiotics

A bacteria that helps keep your gut nice and healthy. As long as it helps keep our tummies flat we are interested, and the effects are fast acting. In some cases, they help fuel weight loss, and in others, they help your body digest food it usually struggles with. By ingesting probiotics it helps balance the bacteria in your gut, this unbalance can explain why people don’t have to eat much to gain weight. So by consuming probiotics regularly can decrease fat producing bacteria that are causing you bloating and weight gain.

2. Yogurt

One of the best foods for getting probiotics into your system. Look for brands that use goat’s milk, which is infused with balancing probiotic agents like lactobacillus or acidophilus. Stay away from the yogurts that are full of artificial sweeteners, and fatty components.

3. Miso Soup

Traditionally used by the Japanese as a digestive regulator. By quickly adding a tablespoon of miso to some hot water, it is the quickest way to get probiotics into your system with ease.

4. Dark chocolate (In moderation!)

One of the only health benefits of chocolate is a number of probiotics that are added. Dark chocolate can have up to as much as four times the amount of probiotics found in dairy. Like we need another excuse to eat chocolate?

5. Chlorophyll

Sound familiar? You may have heard about it back when you were in science class, learning how plants can’t live without it. So what does it have to do with flat tummies? Among many other amazing health benefits, Chlorophyll improves digestion and encourages the likelihood of successful weight loss. The effects will leave you feeling fuller for longer and improves detoxification. You can easily include Chlorophyll in your diet, you can find it in the following:

6. Leafy green vegetables

This is easy, right? If you’re used to eating a salad you’re already winning. Romaine lettuce is particularly good for inducing your body with all these healthy vitamins and minerals.

7. Hemp Seeds

Packed full of chlorophyll you won’t only want to keep it in your diet for its health benefits, but for its nutty taste.

Anything that is green is usually a good way of spotting chlorophyll, an easy way I incorporate it into my diet is in a green smoothie! Mmmm…
