5 Tricks That Made My Hair Grow Faster

How to make hair grow faster?

I don’t know about you, but I’m in love with long, mermaid-like hair. I used to think my hair wouldn’t grow until I tried these quick tips that I’m sharing with you. Remember: hair can’t grow overnight so don’t expect to be able to pull off the Rapunzel hairstyle when you wake up tomorrow, but if you apply these tips regularly you can get some awesome results quicker than you might think!

1. Rinse Your Hair With Cold Water

According to Mark Townsend, (the celebrity hairstylist who helped Ashley Olsen grow out her bob)”This really does help to grow hair and keep long hair healthy for longer” by preventing moisture loss and heat damage. As much as this might sound dreadful during the winter, cold water can really give your hair that extra help it needs!

2. Don’t Use Shampoo Every Time You Shower

When applied too often, shampoo can take away essential natural oils that keep the strands healthy and soft. Instead of applying shampoo every single time you shower, the trick is to apply conditioner as often as you can! Conditioner helps give back and replace the lipids and proteins inside the hair shaft, making it grow healthy and fast.

Bumble and Bumble Super Rich Conditioner restores dry and chemically treated hair, detangles, softens and restores hair so you can rest assured that it’s at its healthiest and will grow on its own.

3. Give Your Hair The Nourishment It Needs

As I said conditioner can go a long way but sometimes it might not be enough, especially if your hair is quite long. Additionally, you can regularly apply an oil or mask treatment on a weekly base, which would fill strands up with fatty acids which are vital for healthy hair.

OUAI Treatment Masque is a restorative and healing masque that will repair hair damage in minutes. It also protects hair from future damage thanks to the artichoke leaf extract it contains. Clever, right? It’ll help your hair grow and replenish itself.

4. Massage your scalp

Massaging your scalp promotes blood flow and stimulates hair follicles. Get yourself a potent hair oil and apply it to your scalp, gently rub your fingers in a circular motion for three to five minutes then rinse. It’s divine!

Phyto Phytologist Botanical Scalp and Hair Concentrate is a potent elixir for thinning, fine hair. It improves hair’s thickness, protects against thinning and supports natural growth. It contains cacao and Indian gentian that support the scalp and restore the natural luster and shine to your hair.

5. Switch up your pillowcase

Slip Pure Silk Pillowcase Available Here

You need a pillowcase that won’t snag or tug your hair, and that will help protect and nourish it while you sleep. Get rid of anything with buttons and try a soft, smooth, silk pillowcase to nourish your hair from root to tip.

The Slip Pure Silk Pillowcase is an 8-hour beauty treatment that helps keep expensive hair products where they should be (not on the pillow!) and won’t pull or tangle your hair, so you won’t have bed head in the morning!
