How To Make The Next Six Months Of The Year The Best Ever

Newsflash: There are only six months left in the year. Rather than letting the panic of this fact wash over you, you should see it as an opportunity to make things happen. If you had a goal at the beginning of the year, now’s the time to step it up.

If you made a promise to yourself at the beginning of the year, you’ve still got six months ahead of you to keep it – and start making magic happen. So without further ado, consider this your six-month plan to make sh*t happen and smash your goals.

So you set some goals at the beginning of the year, right? Now’s the time to think about which goals matter – and what you want to achieve in the next six months of the year? Maybe you’ve set yourself a goal and haven’t moved towards it – this is more of a reflection on your goal than it is on yourself.

If you have been working towards your goal over the past few months, excellent – but now it’s time to step it up. So, decide what you want to say to yourself on December 31st, 2019. What do you want to look back on and be proud of? Do you think you’ll smash all your goals by the end of the year, or do you need to refocus and decide what you really want?

First off, look at your daily routine. You can use every hour of the day to streamline your life and get yourself into a good routine. Waking up earlier, working out in the morning, eating healthily, and organizing your house in the evening. You can use the Win At Life journal to start measuring your daily routine and seeing where you can improve.

If you’ve always wondered why you’re in a terrible mood every Monday, by writing out everything you do on the weekend and on Monday you might discover that the things you’ve been spending your time on have been affecting your mood, and in turn, your productivity. So basically, the key is tracking your daily routine. How much time do you spend on things that you don’t need to be spending time on? If you lay on your bed and watch Facebook videos for two hours, are you using your time wisely? If your wardrobe is a complete mess and you’re sitting on Instagram scrolling instead of taking thirty minutes to clean it up – who’s winning here?

Trust us; we know it’s easy to distract yourself from jobs that need doing. It’s too easy. And you do need downtime to switch off your brain and stare at funny videos of dogs for a while, but maybe you can pencil that in for a weekend? Once you start writing out your ‘dream routine’ and the things you’ll do every weekday, you’ll get yourself into the swing of things and be able to work for the next six months on your goals.

Okay, you do need to kick it up a notch if you want to make the next six months of the year count. We’re talking about goals, yeah, but we’re also talking about the things you want to do. Do you want to travel? Take some leave and book it! Do you want to spend more time with your family? Go home for a weekend. Stop all the excuses floating around in your mind and step up to make the life you want happen.

That’s all you have to do if you want to make the next six months of the year count. Do your best, and live your dreams. Simple.

But you’re going to need help to stay on top, okay. That’s where a 2019/2020 diary comes in. The Goals 2019/2020 Diary is your best friend for planning these next few months. Not only does it have a weekly hourly view so you can schedule in your activities and plan your routine, but it has a monthly overview and a lined section for your monthly goals. So you can set your intention for the month and then work towards it week on week. It’s perfect for goal-setting and for making the most of the rest of the year!

With that said, one of the best ways to step up your goals is to share them. What are your goals for the next six months? Leave a comment; we love to hear what you’re planning.
