4 Skincare Secrets To Look Forever Young

Wondering how to prevent aging skin? Over the last few years, I have become a lot more invested in my skincare. I love to research products and see what ingredients work for me and how I can keep my skin young forever (OK, maybe not forever but a girl can try!) So I thought I would share with you my favorite tips and products for keeping your skin from aging!

1. Add SPF

One of the main factors that cause your skin to age is the natural aging of your body and the sun. I have seen endless photos of what sun damage does to your skin so I think it is no lie when you hear that sunscreen is the best anti-aging cream. SPF is the first thing you should grab when trying to prevent aging skin.

We know that the best way to protect ourselves from the sun is to stay away from it but when you can’t help it, it’s very important to use SPF. Here are some of my favorite sunscreens for your face that don’t clog your pores and look amazing on your skin and great under makeup.

2. Introduce Hyaluronic Acid

If you want to add more steps I recommend adding HA (hyaluronic acid) to your skincare routine. Your body makes HA but as you get older your body produces less HA. HA helps to keep moisture in your skin and that way it can reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Here are some of my favorite hyaluronic acids.

3. Get More Retinol

Another thing you can add to your skincare routine is Retinol. Retinol is a derivative of Vitamin A and they increase the production of collagen. It can help improve the skin’s texture and it reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Retinol can be really intense so if you are a beginner start by adding a bit of retinol to your moisturizer. It is very important to wear SPF when you are using retinol since your skin can get really sensitive. I recommend these retinols.

4. It’s All About Peptides

If you are 30 years old or older I would recommend adding peptides to your routine. They are amino acids that help stimulate your skin to make collagen. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles and makes your skin firmer and plumped. I recommend trying these peptides.
