How To Use A Planner To Become Super Productive

Your plans are unique to you, you’ve got plenty to do and probably not enough hours in the day to get it done. Have you ever thought about building your own planner? Designing a planner or system exactly as you want it means that you know you’re going to stay on top of everything you need to do. Let’s let you in on a little secret, here’s how…

One
CHOOSE YOUR STYLE

We know that everybody loves a different style, whether it’s a gift for your friend or family member or something for yourself, choose a cover that you’re going to love – that will remind you of the plans you’re going to make for yourself.  We’ve updated our brand new planners so you can choose the cover you love first, and then decide what kind of layout you’d need. There are two to choose from, daily and yearly, so have a think about it before you make the choice.

What’s the difference?

Our daily planners are undated and have a layout that combines today’s plan with meal prep, expenses, shopping lists and more. Our yearly layout runs from January to December 2021 and combines monthly calendar overviews with timed to-do list slots for the week. If you want rapid fire planning with quick deadlines and dates, choose the yearly layout. If you’d prefer to write down your entire daily plan and track your self-care, grab the daily undated layout.

Two
PLAN YOUR DAY

If you choose the daily undated planner, start by writing out your MITs (most important tasks) of the day on the left-hand side. You can use tabs, post-its, and stickers (the planners come with 162 planning stickers) to make this visually appealing. If you prefer to write an extensive list, you can try adding times to it to give yourself mini-deadlines.

On the right-hand page start by planning out your breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Then fill in your shopping list and expenses, track your workouts, self-care, water intake and personal notes. This layout marries together everything that will help you have a productive, stress-free day.

OR SET SOME MONTHLY GOALS

If you need to look further ahead, use the 2021 layout to set yourself some goals, manage your deadlines at a glance and get prepared. Use the monthly calendar layout to write down activities, events, reminders and deadlines, and plan your goals on the right-hand side. Turn the page and you’ll find our weekly timed layout, which is perfect for appointments, deadlines, and a busy jam-packed week that needs to be managed in small increments.

This layout works perfectly with the Pomodoro method, allowing you to track your day in 30 minute time frames and finally manage every hour of the day.
