If you’re a beauty lover or you’re on Instagram, you must have come across Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre. A French holy grail, celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson and never aging Yasmin Le Bon swear by. It’s a rich, concentrated, slightly medicinal cream that is packed with shea butter, soy protein, aloe vera and is paraben-free. You can use it as a makeup remover, primer, moisturizer and it absorbs super quickly.

I’ve seen this product so many times but I was never tempted to actually buy it. I mean I am quite skeptical about new beauty products, and sometimes things just seem too good to be true. But in the name of Career Girl Daily, I decided to give this one a go. And I can tell you it has been love at first squeeze.

The scent is mild and delicate and when you apply it on your face it feels light but still moisturizing. It’s packed with fatty acids and vitamins and is the perfect moisturizer for every skin type! This formula improves the tone and feel of your skin, stimulating cell renewal and collagen fibers. I notice it’s much easier to apply my makeup when I use this moisturizer and it leaves you with that fresh, dewy finish.

As for application, you can play around with it. I use it as a moisturizer and when my skin is a bit dry I use it as an intensive treatment and apply a thicker layer before I go to bed. I just notice a difference when I am not using this moisturizer. My skin looks more ‘dull’.

After using this moisturizer for 2 months now, I can say I’m in love. The formula is so lightweight and simple that I love to use it every morning and before going to bed. I have no breakouts so far and I absolutely understand why this moisturizer is a cult fave and called one of the best moisturizers EVER.
