Successful women’s daily routines fascinate us. People dissect their daily routines to find out if there’s some magic, special secret to their success embedded in them. But the truth is, their daily routines are the culmination of years of careful planning. How did they get to this point? How did they figure out when to workout, what to eat, and when to plan their day? By trying different routines and tracking their effects. They’ve come a long way over the years, and have used what they’ve learned to get ahead.
We thought we’d dissect the daily routines of all the super successful women to see if they have anything in common – and to show you just how relatable an average day in a successful woman’s life is. The Win At Life Journal will help you balance your day out and find the perfect routine for you, track and grade all your daily activities to find out how your day affects how you feel, and then adjust it until you’ve built your perfect day.

An early wake up is proven to help you get ahead of the day. If you wake up at 5 a.m. and you’re productive throughout the day, you’ll be more tired by the end of the night, making it easier to sleep. This creates a better sleep cycle. And sleep is important for your health.
While you might enjoy hitting the snooze button, most successful women know the benefits of an early morning. Anna Wintour wakes up at 5 AM; Victoria Beckham wakes up between 5:30 AM and 6 AM. Examine any successful woman’s routine, no matter who they are, and you’ll see they don’t often sleep in beyond 7 because the day demands way too much of them. From Michelle Obama to Jennifer Lopez, an early wake up is the best start to the day you can possibly get. But you still need to make sure you’re getting enough sleep, which is why that’s the first thing you can track in the Win At Life Journal.

We’ve all heard about Victoria Beckham’s 7km morning run and Anna Wintour’s 5 AM tennis session, but why do most successful women fit their workouts in before work?
Jennifer Lopez works out for an hour and fifteen minutes in the morning; even Oprah goes for a run or a low-intensity workout with her team before getting to work. What does a workout in the morning do for you? Exercising increases your productivity and gets your endorphins going. You will be more awake and ready to tackle your day by giving yourself that extra energy boost, it can increase your mental clarity for four to 10 hours post-exercise. Which is why so many successful women swear by it!

Michelle Obama eats a healthy balanced breakfast, Oprah eats whatever she grows in her own garden, Lady Gaga sticks to a carb-free diet, in fact, most successful women try to maintain a balanced and varied diet. The better you eat, the better you’ll perform. Jennifer Garner, for example, eats the same breakfasts every single day to stay in shape (a breakfast smoothie). Apart from providing us with energy, breakfast foods are good sources of important nutrients such as calcium, iron, and B vitamins as well as protein and fiber. The body needs these essential nutrients, and research shows that if these are missed at breakfast, they are less likely to be compensated for later in the day.

Every successful woman has their daily hustle. Oprah does her accounts in the morning and spends her day checking in with the office in different locations, Michelle Obama is touring and making appearances for her book, Victoria Beckham alternates between the office, her showroom, and appointments for her new collection. And let’s be honest, a typical day never runs from 9 to 5. Successful women are either early or staying late to make sure they get everything done.
Balance is important to these women, so they make a note and keep track of their efforts with their families too, that’s why it’s so important to use something like the Win At Life system to make sure you’re staying on top of everything.

Time for yourself is important; every successful woman knows that. Whether it’s Jessica Alba spending time with her friends and family, Drew Barrymore making time for her children, or Beyonce going on a date with her husband. It’s important to invest in yourself, spend time with the people that matter, go outside and enjoy the world around you, listen to your loved ones, and give yourself some much-needed me-time.
Every successful woman has an evening routine that allows them to get into the right mindset for the next day. From a specific skin care routine to late night Instagram stories showing Chrissy Teigen cooking for her friends. There’s always something you can do to better prepare you for the day.
