Meghan Markle is still very much in the front of our collective brains at the moment. Almost every news outlet has picked up stories about her, and since she has a lifestyle website primarily about food and wine, we wondered what her daily diet actually looks like. You can’t deny that she looks amazing, so how does she do it?
“French fries and vino are my vices,” she said. She loves Tignanello so much she named her website The Tig after it.

Her daily diet, as published on Delish, looks something like this:
Wake up: Hot water with lemon
Breakfast: Steel-cut oats with bananas and agave syrup drizzled on it
Lunch: Salad with protein of some kind
Snack: Apples with almond butter and sea salt
Late Afternoon Pick-Me-Up: Green juice
Dinner: Pasta with zucchini, lots of Parmesan and a glass of wine
In fact, she has a hack for that zucchini pasta sauce, so if you want to make a seriously sexy pasta sauce over the weekend for your pasta goodness, all you have to do is slow-cook zucchini for four to five hours. As Meghan says, “The sauce gets so creamy you’d swear there’s tons of butter and oil in it, but it’s just zucchini, water and a little bouillon.”
We also liked to hear that she sees green juice as a necessary evil. Nobody loves drinking green juice right? Meghan has a “food-as-medicine philosophy” about it. Taking it because it’s good for her, not because it’s tasty. Of course, you can upgrade your green juice to the realms of acceptable taste with a couple of choice ingredients. But we imagine Meghan’s is packed with leafy greens.
Besides that, she enjoys running and blueberry smoothies to stay in shape. She also cuts out gluten while filming, as she’s noticed a huge difference in her skin and appearance when she does. When she’s out of filming, she’s a girl after our own heart and declares that anything goes!
